this had the potential to become a good psychological work with the guilt eating him up and portraying the consequences of messing up a kid. unfortunately mid way it turned into a "cute romance". I feel like the author had different intentions for it but got told to wrap it up in 5 chapters and the direction went totally different.
honestly could see where ujie was coming from. a lot of people definitely have double standards regarding things because of people's looks. but he let it cloud his judgement to the point he was doing the exact same thing he hates but the inverse of it.
glad he could see shima was really working hard at the end.
ughh i cant get explain it but i love this so much. maybe im just a sucker for slow burn... or not, if this really ends up not being BL. well! sucks to be if that's the case ig!
also something about characters true feelings coming out at the heat of the moment and then reflecting later on just makes me go "ah... youth..." and sip my imaginary tea. it's endearing tbh and I appreciate it so much, it just shows they're human
yall are right. why is everybody in this manga acting like michi is in the wrong?!?! he wouldn't have known, kaoru never said a damn thing tf he's not a mind reader. now it's all his fault? why did kaoru never try and contact michi when he ran away anyways lmfao
edit: im at least glad they're now aware of each other's feelings but are just embarrassed to talk about it lmao
I don't think he's poly. I myself am not a fan of poly but it's an insult to poly relationships to think whatever he has with his "girlfriends" is poly. he said it himself and some of the girls said it too - they're just using each other. he doesn't want to be lonely but he doesn't really love them like that, and some of the girls just wanna hang out with hot and handsome guys.
But why are you assuming that poly = "healthy poly" or "romantic poly"? In the same way a monogamous relationship can be "exclusive yet toxic" or "exclusive only to fulfill their needs with 0 feelings", poly can be "toxic poly" and "poly with no attachment whatsoever, just fulfilling their needs and it's not cheating because everyone knows about everyone else"
because saying he's poly sounds like he's approaching girls with the intent to be in that relationship with them when he's not. the girls are just a temporary thing for him to be with, not even considerable as a relationship in the first place. it's just like being friends with everybody. it's because people are labeling him as poly that's why they're saying he can't be with the mc when that's obviously false cause all this time he never felt anything for the girls and has always set a boundary to what he gelt for them vs with the mc. plus this is why i hate these definitions, people always put individualistic spins to them then the whole topic becomes convoluted cause everyone else has a different description for something...
dont worry guys the manga's atmosphere screams happy ending, it doesn't have a tragic vibe going on unlike the other tragedy mangas. it is happy ending i swear. no I'm not just saying this to cope. this will have a happy ending. this will have a happy ending. what are you guys talking about, this will have a happy ending.

I need more of them. I need more of daiya wanting hakka more and more
