part of the responsibilities of being an athlete is taking care of your health and making sure no permanent damage is done to your body so that you could still keep going. since he's so obsessed about wanting to box, he should understand that best. it's either rest for a while OR never box again. does jk think resting for his shoulder is useless and "curing" it is impossible? i wonder what's up.
I don't wanna underestimate Mingwa but I'm pretty sure it's just bad character writing atp. Like if you think about it for more than two seconds, it doesn't make any sense for JK to be so fucking stubborn about his body!!!! so I think the author is ignoring her own characters and she's just using some of their character traits to put them in situations. Dan is also guilty, we all know he's very sensitive and passive but as a physical therapist it's his job to make sure his patient doesn't get injured, but he gets all shy and gloomy instead. I feel like at this point the "plot" doesn't even revolve around an athlete and his physical therapist bc they certainly don't act like they're supposed to.
that was unnecessary. if the chief didnt attempt raping him i wouldve wished hed get a spin off
in which case he probably still will! read a previous manga where the person who assaulted the uke got their own story and remained friends with the uke with no drawback whatsoever, it's ridiculous lol. plus it's like this whole thing is a setup that he will.
as long as kaji learns to be less hopeful of romance from fukami i guess. but i wonder if any of the readers actually are expecting that to happen in the near future or still far away? it's painfully obvious how he's still very expectant in the recent chapter.
im gonna be honest, keeping up with this has become exhausting to me. thinking about what could potentially happen to kaji makes me uneasy. he's very hopeful, it's sad to see. the best route for everyone is have him understand eventually and slowly but his mindset still isn't there yet.
this is exactly what i was thinking, i even commented this before. i just can't understand how people are overlooking this.
kaji understands him and respect his boundaries, but he keeps playing in his head the same track "he's going to fall in love w me at some point". he is just waiting for him. but what if this never happens?
poor kaji, i just feel bad for him.
might be an unpopular opinion but i really REALLY hope this isn't a reincarnation story. or at least if it is then i hope it's not the case where the reincarnated person just gains their memories and make it overwrite what the current person has experienced in their current life and that hopefully grant is able to separate his past and present and comes to love the present person instead of holding on to the past. otherwise, god it's so overdone and i hate that trope so much. it takes away the life the person has lived and anchors all their "romance" from their past lives alone instead of their present experience, MOST ESPECIALLY for the person who's not reincarnated (in this case, grant) since their love started from loving the past and not the present. i dont like it and the chemistry built from it just feels lazy especially when they just solve everything (especially situations where they get jealous of their past selves) with "oh he's a reincarnation and he now remembers everything!".
tldr; my very problem with most of reincarnation stories is how the non-reincarnated person seeks their loved one in the reincarnation despite the reincarnation already being a different person who has lived a different life.

also i think dan "falling in love" was centered around the idea that jk was the one who helped him at his lowest (nobody did previously) plus they're having sex almost everyday so it probably conditioned him to think he loves him. personally don't like romance built on that premise so im lowkey just hoping dan realizes in the future how he feels this way due to gratitude + constant sex and his feelings eventually would transition into something purer/genuine once jk actually mellows out (in 2030 maybe)
