It is expected haha. The game is dev and produced by otomate. Otomate is very against Yuri routes and the idea of "heroine ending with another woman" which is ironic since they LOVE "otome MC is loved by all genders" and "chosen one" MC trope and never have any rival villainess in love that stood a chance against them (are an actual threat to them).
That ending is very much a joke lmao. So short too. No CG. Not even an actual ending but just one of those random dead ends they add to make the choice seems like they matters haha. Lots of the pov of the other girls like Maria were written in a way that she doesn't seem to love romantically katarina too
