Kiniro no Corda is originally and mainly an otome game. It may came across like a normal shoujo anime for those that watched the anime vers but it's mainly an early 2000s thing and Kiniro no Corda being an anime from Koei Tecno. Back then anime such as this didn't get the " 12 episodes " treatment of otome like Kamigami no Asobi, Code realize, DiaLov.
Kure Yuuki (mangaka) isn't even the one in charge of the scenario/writing and story. She's just the artist that picked scenes from the game and mixed it up to have Len as the lead in this adaptation. Technically she does not have pull controll and rights to the story. Like she can't just magically make Tsukimori someone that likes cakes because the original sources (OG game, sequel 2ff, and filler game Octave) didn't wrote Tsukimori to be like that.
This sequel story wasn't created only as a sequel for the manga adaptation but also for the players of the otome game that are more likely to read and buy the manga. In this context it make sense they eventually make a what if scenario but more like a dj kind of manga. Which is very similar to the strategy of Quiin Rose's HnknA otome. There's a well known manga adaptation with Blood as ml but, there are also ones with different guys as MLs.
is like witnessing those very tense and scary moments where the wife is walking on thin glass around her violent husband. It's so uncomfortable. I've read a bit of the novel and it's understandable that MC is terrified. The webtoons great but, I think they should have portrayed more Lister violent side instead of his goofy side. Lister is really abusive and prone to anger and general slapping, beating etc.
Oh the worst it yet to come in the webtoon... The webtoon didn't cut any of the worst thing Lister has done so far in terms of event but, in terms of actual actions. I noticed that the artist tends to not linger or cut the scene where MC gets hits (like there was a scene where repeatedly slapped MC to almost unconsciousness... Here the scene wasn't shown but was skipped immediately to what he does next. .... Hm, I guess I'm just complaining unnecessarily haha... The novel was just much more descriptive of the pains and wounds MC felt each time so I'm a salty

I'm so glad I can finally read vol. 3 (/TДT)/
