A sequel that butchered to the ground the tiny thing I liked of the og story... The question is will this sequel end with author breaking the main couple and let the Maria end with this second love interest that author cannot let go from this "obsessed with the protag" cliché ?
I agree with other people here. Let the story die, don't turn shoujo manga into Beautiful (tv serie) where the concept of love is no where to be see.
I've only read up to ch. 1 btw. I just love that author uses mostly very dark and non-vibrant colors which imo is very befitting the story which is... Um.. Very yikes. Anyways I love the colors makes me feel so uneased and uncomfy. Y'know the author ain't trying to color this story positive vibe and I love that given red flags here are quite serious and unforgivable imo
I kept thinking MC looks familiar, not because of her physical appearance but just the vibes. She looks and have a proper conduct that doesn't have that "I a girl from 20th century energy" common in noble girls webtoons.
Just vibe wise she reminds me a bit of Lili from Piofiore (otome). Y'know that proper, damsel-like but not afraid of standing on her ground kind of vibe

This is why I believe children should be taken away from neglectful parents asap! No, there should be a system that verifies that soon to be parents have the bare minimum mental and financial preparation before they can have kids. And this is why I hate anti abortion and forced it on people that are simply not prepared and want the kid. Y'all if you're a parent you literally have ginormous and permanent impact on of another living human's life. Just like the kid in this story, ik it's fiction but still, negligence can ruin and leave scars on the kid's life and character '
