There's nothing like a plan that backfires in the face of the one who came up with it, to make a great script. It's a trick that's as old as the hills, but it always works... Too bad this translation is simply crawling with English mistakes. Still, doesn't spoil the fun.

LOL. I did search right away for what it meant when I started reading this. I just couldn't continue reading without knowing it and how to pronounce it. And from my research it says its a man being castrated, meaning the guys balls cut off.
That's right. Bully for you for doing the research! A eunuch (an ancient Greek word) is a castrated man. It was very common in Asia, the Ottoman Empire and Europe: for serving in King's and Emperor's harems, ('cause there weren't any non-castrated men allowed in there), for singers who wanted to keep their clear voice, before the technique for developing boy's voices into countertenors was known, and also for medical reasons (to prevent early death for hermaphrodite children)... and for transgender girls, born into a male body, before hormonal treatment existed. In fact, in countries where there is no medical care for the poor, like India or Africa, transgender girls still have it done in order to prevent getting a masculine look.
But a boy who doesn't get it up because of some psychosomatic reason is by no means a eunuch (to be pronounced "yunick", btw). I wonder who made the mistake, the mangaka or the translator?
This is the essence of the kind of stories there should be everywhere, in order to make young gay kids feel good about themselves. It would avoid many tragedies à la Brokeback Mountain... somebody should give this mangaka a price. So short, and it has everything it needs.
This brings back memories of a manga I read waaaaay years ago, also named "Lycantrophy" (which actually means werewolf, btw). It was a 100 times much more intense than this, but I can't find it anywhere anymore. It was about a young man who had a new neighbour living on the floor above him, and one day he went in there and got raped something dreadful by a huge wolf! I remember I got eyes like this

I will, although I doubt I'll ever find them back. It couldn't be showed on the net anymore, I guess. Those were manga from the '60's, from a whole different level... All these girly stuff on this site can't possibly be compared to it. While I read the comments of some of the readers being totally shocked by the content of a manga, I suppose they'd drop dead on the spot if they were to read stuff from that time, when American prudery hadn't spraid a veil of censorship on the whole Internet yet!...

Well you know, I'm an old guy; I've seen the times when women had to be pretty and dumb and their main merit was to be able to cook and clean for their husband, nothing else. So "girly" would have been a normal thing to say about something very silly and weak, back then. Strong, independent and brave women were considered veeeery unattractive... Those were the Dark Ages. You old or young? Young people tend to find it Walt-Disneyan in style. I don't think it does, but when you've never looked at different styles of drawing, and only know American drawing styles, there really isn't anything to pick from but Marvel-style and Disney-style.
Haha nah it more reminds me of some of the medieval comics I've read. That have that sort of dark grundgy feel to the art style
That's because of my brush, it gives the drawings a certain roughness that you don't get with a pen or a fineliner. I like the brush. And black ink smells good!

I think the Mangago-site is deteriorating a bit, btw. It's nothing but endless bland bl stuff with mediocre artwork and pointless scripts. The readers keep going Oh sooo cute, sooo sexy!!! I don't know what's in their heads sometimes... Compared to the quality of the oldest comics here, the work of today's mangaka is poor!

I would love to do that, who don't want to contribute to the artist that create all of our joy & happiness. We readers are not that heartless, I even dream to have all the manga that i love inside my bedroom..but unfortunately not all country provide that pleasure..
unless the manga get so high rated like the 3 legends & other manga that already reach international rank like Doraemon/ Shin-Chan..I dont think a country that not quite familiar with the term "Manga" will aloud an unnamed comic into their borders.
It doesn't depend where you live whether you can buy manga. You've got a computer & internet? Buy online. Tons more manga are translated in English than just Shinchan and Doraemon; buy them at Amazon or so. Those that aren't, I suggest you simply buy the Japanese version. Why not? You know the story through these scanlations, don't you? I buy all I want at http://www/cdjapan.co.jp .They have a great English site and ship to any country. They're reliable and polite, as expected from Japanese people. You can pay with credit card or Paypal, in any currency. It's not expensive, and it looks great on your shelves! If you're too young for a credit card, just ask your dad to do it for you. Take the best quality manga, he'll have no objection!

Lots of success buying! It's great fun to have a row of those pretty little books on your bookshelf. And remember: you start at the back, and read your way toward the front of the book! Every now and then, I look at my collection and browse through it, allthough I can't read most of what's written (I only know hiragana and a thirty-or so kanji). But If I want to know what's happening, I read the story here. At least this way, the mangaka who made the opus has some reward from our fun! If I don't, I feel like I'm taking advantage of them.
Well, I can't buy online. My parents won't allow me to use their cards and we are struggling financially rn. Maybe someday I could buy but not now. I really love reading manga. It's fun and helps set aside school stress but for now I can only support by giving thanks to the mangaka,the scanlators and translators and by commenting. I'm really thankful for the joy they give and hopefully someday can thank by money. ^_^

Anyway, it's a funny and pleasant ghost story, something we're not really used to anymore in the West: except for Caspar the Little Ghost, I don't recall any endearing movie ghosts... unless you're counting Patrick Swayze. Apparently, Japanese ghosts aren't all that scary, that's a relief to all people who're planning on going to Japan! A cook who makes delicious Japanese food is always to be respected, even if she's nothing but a pair of hands connected to nothing...
