I'm unhappy with her skin change too but good for her she's still level-headed and not fall into euphoria. Considering the awful treatment she's been getting all this time.
Art is good but the political settings isn't explained that well I think. Anyone with me? For example, the discussion of Sorbonne wine only came when Tara wants to have a personal maid, but suddenly it's escalated to an underground gang scandal and import ban? Meanwhile we don't know much about the geographical setting of the country, the social structure, etc.. all of them are kinda implied, even the fact that Tara was born from a commoner mother hence the discrimination. Kinda wish they took slower pace to ease us into the world they're in.

Ok so I've been putting this on my to-read list for so long, and finally I decided to read this today.
This webtoon feels bland. It's decent, but it doesn't excite me. The main character feels fickle and so far no villain showed up yet, so the feeling of anticipation or thrill is rare.
I understand why Charlotte wanted to live a calm life and hide herself away from her disciples, but then she was like "nuuu I want love but it doesn't mean I want to abandon them". And then she'd go confront her disciples and be "hey, I can speak the words only you and Charlotte know, also I have similar features to your Charlotte that is actually unique in this world, but I'm Aria!! I'm not Charlotte!!"
Rinse and repeat.
Also I feel like Charlotte has never feel conflicted about her own decision to hide the fact that she's alive, while also feeling responsible for her disciples in the same time. I find this weird. If you care that much, why hide in the first place? If you already decided to live a second life, why even brother? (I agreed with Jeffrey here).
I find Charlotte's actions half-hearted and not carefully thought? Considering she's being looked upon as someone wise and omniscient.
Regardless, this still definitely has a long way to go. Maybe I'll read again someday in the future, looking forward to how the story will be going then.

Charlotte's emotions also seem strange or unnatural to me. I know that she is a stereotype of poker face, but I do not feel her human I do not feel where she is happy truly happy or I have never seen her cry, when she met in her dreams with her teacher not a little sad.
We haven't even really seen her angry with feelings of revenge or anger. If she had truly cared about her disciples, not letting 8 years go by without investigating anything about them, she could have left a month and wondered how they were doing and taking care of them from afar (it was very hypocritical of her to blame Jeffrey for hiding the rumors ).
And knowing what Evan can be, was it very careless of her not to have disabled him from using mana before dying (because she knew from the beginning what he was, she took him as an apprentice to give him a chance to avoid that fate), so careless for someone who lived more than 100 years old
The first chapters were painful to read, but at least she maneuvered and rebelled instead!! Hope she'll succeed at her spirit magic and her father to come to his sense soon.
Who the heck censored the credits? You already rip off their work, at least have the decency to not censor the source.
Anyone knows the archduke's actual lineage? All we know is that he's a royalty, and he said that his father is a Vorde but also Grand Prince Schneider. If his father is the current king's brother, wouldn't it make the king a Schneider too? But people called him "Archduke Schneider" which implies Schneider is the name of the archduchy. But it's weird??? Or is it the opposite, Vorde is the royal family name and Schneider is his own?
This is really nice, it's the opposite of "I have to get my father to love me" trope
I feel like whoever behind S2 is 1) not a native English speaker, 2) relatively young because I noticed a lot of basic grammar mistakes that should be learned at least in high school. The problem has never been the image quality, it's the text. I feel like the translator actually understand Korean but utterly fails to convey it back in English. Doesn't help that they advertise "fast release" over quality too, a handful of people here have been offering help to proofread or they could at least recruit someone who can actually speaks English as a quality checker, but nope.
But as always there will be people who defend them and told us readers to be "grateful" because we read it for free. I've been reading scanlations for 13+ years now since the days of One Manga, and people have been doing this for free because they love it and they want more people to read it, that's why they work hard to deliver actually good translations. I'm glad at least in this series people seem to agree that bad translations hurt the series, but S2 does other titles too and there are many who still defend them.
