i love when the leads aren’t the predictable write up characters. and i really loved the fl in this for that very reason
the only reason i didn’t drop this was because i needed a question answered. now that it is, and I’m at the latest update, i won’t read this shit again. there’s so much random shit shoved into this story it’s insane. now they bout to add lovers triangle and more palace intrigue to the ever growing potluck of plots
ngl i dropped it at 152. not only because the translation was ass and kept between decent and horrendous, but idc what anyone says. Rei and Rin being endgame annoys me. not only because he’s been weirdly in love with her since she was THREE! but also because i can only understand an age gap to some extent and him being damn near 500 to her 14…..is insane so no. i don’t like them together. And in all honesty, Ren would have been better because even when he was so clearly in love with her he didn’t put his feelings first like every other person did. even if you argue him only seeing Erin and not Rin, i feel like that’s not totally true because he had been trying to get to know Rin for Rin not Erin even though he initially stayed because or Erin.
all that to say i feel like i wasted my time

firstly, after reading the reviews I’m pretty confident in dropping this.
i dropped at 101, but the reason:
A, it’s too repetitive and was becoming exhausting. there was too much of a repetitive process of them being in danger and overcoming it. if I’m being honest, i usually only am okay with that cycle if it’s due to a behind the scene subplot that has a hand in everything. But that’s not the case here, instead it was just random situations after random situations.
B, it did freak me out that every male character that met the twins was almost immediately smitten with the 5, 12 and 16 yo Aerinne. Not to mention the ml whom they tried normalize from the very beginning by saying he was still young because he was “born” the same time as the twins.
C, and finally, the translations. I’m at the point where i genuinely don’t care any longer about how hard translating work may be. I get that sentence structure and wording may be hard to place but if you’re already taking your time to translate or hell, even mtl-inning something then take the proper time to correct any wording or mistranslations and sentence structure as well. using the excuse that you’re doing it for fun or in your own time and then putting out illegible and difficult to read work honestly just makes me think you don’t care about what is tossed out as long as it’s “translated.” then anyone who complains is deemed rude or ungrateful. Honestly, i dropped it because it was exhausting trying to struggle through correcting sentence structures and phrasing in my head while trying to enjoy the story itself. I feel like i wasted so much time thinking the level of translation would be kept up but it wasn’t and so I’m over it.
luckily, however, it seems it wasn’t worth reading anyway with the amount of comments mentioning how the whole twin aspect is dropped halfway into the latter half of the story.
i may be the only one saying this, but the mc is so corny man. he reads like a chunni teenager, and that would be fine if he wasn’t 26.. like to me it feels like the author tries to hard to force sentiments and determination. idk if that makes sense

i loved this soo much but i won’t lie, i crave to see cps having their own families and how the cute overprotective family reacted when they met their first grandchild/nephew/niece
this story had such raw emotions that i found it hard not to be swayed into tears along with the MC. my goodness how vivid.
Before i started this, i read the reviews just to check on how good it was and it was kinda mixed, however some of the bad reviews stuck with me and made me hesitant to read it because some of what they said are pet peeves of mine. In the end, i finally read it and ?? wtf? it was so good. I was so sick and tired of the same old trope and the fl ending up with the prince or powerful duke or being the damsel in distress. Then i stumble across this and not only is the fl a badass, she’s also clever and doesn’t need a man to make her powerful. i loved loved loved the role reversal of the main couple and even katerena and robbie. wow
