….wow. I’ve never been so unsatisfied with an ending in my life

i got to chapter 12 and decided to check the ending and thank God i did because i refuse to sit through another lackluster bg romance where the girl always ends up with the one that causes her trauma

first of all, this is such an interesting way to write abo like wow, i really loved it, and i was so happy that there was no abuse or toxicity between the 2 leads.

why are mls always shaped like fucking hangers? then they’re the biggest dudes while their partners are average height or short. Oh but story wise, it was cool ig, i do think the ending was severely lacking. nothing was resolved and the whole “heir to the throne” thing had a bandaid slapped over it and called it done. makes no sense

I’m glad I’m not the only one with how the black guy was portrayed…

the tension and anxiety this gives me is so intensely delicious

such a beautiful story. i cried so much it’s crazy i love how gentle this love was even if it was cowardly to begin with

I can’t stand the MC at all. His whole identity was erased within the first couple chapters and he was pretty much summed up as “The MLs lackey” then you get a whole handful of flashbacks that supposed to show how it all started and all i got from it was that MC was meant to be this stupid powerful mage whose knowledgeable and what have you yet the second ML is involved, he turns into an idiot.

He’s either cursing the MC or fucking him, like they could have given him a modicum of backbone whether it was in regards to standing his ground and not sleeping with the asshole for “rewards” or keeping a cold face when dealing with ML. Instead, he’s anything but what I’d have expected and i could totally see why he’d be deemed as useless to his family head. He’s naive and an just overall pushover..

i really needed to say that. I hated Ml too, but fuckk, i hate an mc that’s supposed to be powerful and strong only to be reduced to nothing when the ML comes in.
