reading this after dangerous convenience store is making me realize how ass this is in comparison.

right, like i want to hope it will get better with time. maybe if the mc starts to remember his past (which paints him out to be way more brutal than the ml) and we get that conflict with his current morals (which read as naive for the setting), maybe then it will grab my interest. right now it’s just too… idk. shallow. especially the mc’s feelings for the ml which haven’t made sense to me from the start.

it’s wild how the artist dropped the ball as hard as they did. when you read the novel there’s no way you’d end up wanting him with anyone other than shinje, but the artist barely cared about the novel or the actual main couple and it shows. a really shitty adaption to a novel i loved.

fr the artist skipped over every cute scene where we were shown how shinje feels about yugeon, didn’t add nearly as much internal dialogue as they should’ve since they kept skipping the small moments that showed character development, completely hollowed out yugeon and made him seem like he had no backbone and no toughnesss. such a let down… tbh i feel bad toward the author of the novel because if my work was handled like this i’d be so upset.

damn that's really sad, i haven't read it but as a novel truther, it really angers me when adaptations don't do the og text justice so i absolutely understand how you feel. i get annoyed by even the tiniest changes in adaptations like THIS WAS NOT HOW IT WAS IN THE OG hope more people will read your and other novel readers comments and pick up the novel. i wouldn't want a story i like to be known only as the shitty adaptation
Bro is a big time virgin and a loser on top of that. Doesn’t know about lube, doesn’t realize blood is a bad fucking sign, AND he thinks men can get each other pregnant. My god…
Has he never even watched porn? I’m surprised he didn’t try sticking it in Sooyoung’s ear. What a dumbass.
