I mean, Ryuu needs to say how he wants to formally mate with Kouta. Of course Kouta doesn't wanna bite when he doesn't know what Ryuu wants right now. This is a decision that is going to affect them both significantly. It makes sense not to just jump to biting right away.
I am glad I never picked this up. The spoilers honestly seem horrendous. Why is there SO much rape in this. It's fucked up even for BL standards. Jooha just looks like a plot device for the continued rapes and for Dooshik to save him.
coming from someone who read this when i was way younger and didnt actually realise how harmful it is, im glad u didnt the fans would tell u that this is expected from a 'dark' story, but i've read plenty of toxic stories that dont blatantly fetishize rape like this. I'll admit that sometimes when the story is good, i turn a blind eye to slight SA that might have taken place. but the way the author repeatedly subjected their characters to it in such porny literally fetishising way was insane. dont read the side story either, its even worse. i truly believe theres genuinely something wrong with the author.
I have been on this site for 8 years now and this is possibly the most deranged one I have seen yet in terms of SA and rape overboard.

the thing is at least with ao3 u have tags and stuff, so u never accidentally even come across bs like this. i just filter out the weird things and I'm done. on here ill be reading a normal lighthearted manhwa & then the author will spring a rape scene upon us with no prior warning. also I'll be seeing weird comments asking for more rape in my feed, and that's nasty. with ao3 the weirdos are in their separate corner and the others in theirs.

The ex plot-lines were super unnecessary and did nothing but generate some angst to drive the plot longer. It's not like it served much purpose either because it didn't look like it resolved anything by the end. Souta was insecure until the last minute, so it's not like the ex's presence existed to solve any of that. Both of those married bastards were literally there to be annoying. This entire manga would be wrapped up in 5 chapters if it wasn't for the constant ex drama and assault. Like, WHAT the fuck. The art is nice, the sex is good but the plot is all over the place.
The events in chapter 4 almost made me drop it. Souta goes to his ex's house instead of clarifying to Kento that they ARE dating. Like boy, c'mon. Your current partner takes precedence over whatever plan you have with your ex. Don't get me started on the EXPLICIT assault. How was any of that necessary? Yikes. The author could have written that by making Souta properly talk it out with his ex in a cafe and breaking up with him properly. That assault was an ass addition to make.
What I liked was the switch though. They technically did switch but Souta still felt like he was bottoming while Kento was topping lmao. But at least Kento was an enthusiastic bottom, which I liked. I need more tops who want to be enthusiastic bottoms.
It's so lore accurate to make the smaller pup the most feisty one, LMAO. Small pups are usually very pissy. I didn't have much expectations going on, but pleasantly surprised by how much I liked both the MCs. They are both so cuteee. The ML looks so scary the first time we see him, but turns out he is a big puppy.
This is such a mess of a manhwa. The MC doesn't seem to have any interest in the ML beyond his looks. The ML is a stalker who just fucked a dude who he thought had a boyfriend and had no problem "dating" that dude like he isn't already dating someone (as far as he knows). This started out interesting but devolved into a complete mess by the end.
Like, saying that you are cheating isn't a punishment to the other person, it just makes you look like a shit person.
The ML is 100% an incubus. Dude appears in MC's dreams, has a nice smell that turns people on and seems to be all mysterious about it. If that's how it turns out to be, I think after they have sex, MC is getting ghosted for sure. I can just see how annoying that's going to be.
It's not like the ML here is innocent, but that doesn't negate the fact how creepy Taegu is for having the hots for someone who he knew as a middle schooler. I know some kids since they were in middle school and now they are adults. I can't, for the life of me, see them in a romantic light, no way in hell. Some people are doing way too much to excuse his creepy ass, ngl. You can like him all you want, this is fiction after all. Don't excuse his creepy actions while you are at it. Hopefully this Taegu arc is resolved without any further hitches. I don't want to sit through a whole arc of a father figure romantically pursuing someone he saw grow up in front of him.
This could have been a short and sweet 30 chapters manhwa. The designs for both the MCs are absolutely banger.
Waiting for BWAT to come back from their hiatus so that I can know what will happen in this manhwa and in Dear, 00. I am dying to know.
