Genuinely not sure why this has such low reviews. Sure, the translation is a bit funky but when is it not? Plus, a better one’s being put out. The story is more fast paced compared to some other ones, but not to the point where it’s rushed. The female lead is still very mysterious, despite being given glances at her past, which is quite refreshing compared to other regressed female leads who suddenly ‘remember’ problems randomly and stuff.
She’s calculating and bit cold, but she’s also impulsive and bold, which is rare, as normally you’d get a MC who’s only standoffish. She does all of this with an elegance that in most stories FL don’t actually portray in their personality and demeanor outside of a few moments showing off their etiquette. It might sound weird to say this, but elegance isn’t really something you can teach a person, it’s something you have to naturally have. Manners are different than elegance; they’re more a gesture of courtesy, and that’s typically what you see in other fantasy stories. She’s dignified without being arrogant. Confident without being condescending. Ruthless with just a touch of recklessness that makes her refreshing, without losing her kindness and shutting herself out.
I like the side characters too, Coco and the prince are fantastic, and I love the fact that he thinks of the two of them as his sisters and family. I love that when he thought about the women in his life he saw actual character traits that he tries to mimic because he admires them and acknowledges them. I feel like we’re lacking that even in manhwa with female leads. It’s subtle, but it’s important. They feel more real when you see this, regardless of character gender. Everyone loves to have the FLs be strong in non-physical things and showcase it, while in the end you end up with some magical or physical ability of the ML or some dude being more important. I think this one actually does justice to what strength can look like, and all it took was a few lines from the prince and his observations on the women in his life he looks up to, not whole story arcs dedicated to the FL being able to handle money. I think that’s what it is honestly. You never see the men look up to women, or vice versa really, though it’s more common to see the other way around. It typically devolves into obsession or romance or something else, when you can just…have people look up to people and have people acknowledge each others strengths on a human level?

In summary: the prince is the unsung hero of this story, the FL has subtle differences compared to others in the genre that make her refreshing, Coco is best girlie, and this whole story should be given more credit than a measly 9.0.
Also, be warned of the current translations, they’re getting better but some are a bit lost.

It’s not bad, wish it was a bit longer and maybe more in-depth, but it’s a healthy relationship. The only thing that really pisses me off is that stupid fucker who keeps trying to ‘out’ them like just fuck off their private life has nothing to do with you??? Why are you taking videos secretly and then showing everyone around the workplace??? Like what the fuck???
Fellas, what would you do if you were transmigrated into a romance fantasy, do the whole ‘I will change my image’ and start to succeed, only for you to get to the generic hunting festival arc and instead of a simple terrorist attack or assassination attempt you are greeted with…the zombie apocalypse???And guns don’t exist.
Depends with what type of zombies we’re dealing with, bc if it was some sort of mutated zombie I’d probably kms on the spot.
Same. If they're slow enough and dumb then they're easily manageable but if they're fast, strong, and can fight then no thanks, I'd rather die by my own terms. Maybe in the next life it'll be a carefree lifestyle lol
hell yeah, Im too fumb to fight and survive.
but instead of kms, maybe Ill be the first victim of the zombies. lol
too scared to kms too, and too scared to kill zombies.
