I don't feel bad for youngwoo at all. Like if he entered a healthy relationship with taejoo I would, but he's guilt tripping Taejoo into staying with him by not correcting Taejoo's misunderstanding that he raped him. It's pretty easy to tell that Taejoo is only staying in the relationship out of duty/taking responsibility even though he truly loves Yoon. THEN even though Yoon out here literally just having gotten hurt and broken up with, Youngwoo has the audacity to talk shit. This ain't the OG plot bruh. In this timeline Leo has done nothing to hurt Erica. Legit if people feel bad for the guy it's reasonable. From his perspective how is he supposed to feel when someone who loved him and he loved just breaks up for a really vague reason. It's not like she can explain that he ends up with the FL, so he's suffering and doesn't understand what he did wrong. He waited 3 years so he could improve himself and win her back and it didn't work. Like the amount of people saying he doesn't deserve empathy because of something he technically didn't even do yet are reaching so hard.

Erica's reasoning for breaking up with Leo is pretty sound too. She's in a messy situation cause she knows she loves him but also knows how the story goes and wants him to be happy. She's scared of what may happen if she stays with him and the story stays the same. In addition, her backstory hasn't been revealed yet but so far we can at least tell that her past led to some sort of issues with love. Like she ain't a bad person, she's literally just human and trying to protect herself.

Everything having to deal with the successor's parents honestly seems like a huge misunderstanding or like we don't have the whole story yet. Like maybe if the sect leader was actually shown to be extremely cruel or he wasn't friends the father it would make sense. But idk he just doesn't seem quite that evil or cruel.
