FL being realistic and calling out the shit storyline in the novel
ML isn't the emperor or prince who hurt the princess in the story
People who wronged her actually self reflect on their actions like wondering if the rumors they were influenced by were true and the father realizing he's a bad father and trying to protect her despite his previous mistakes
I think it's plausible to say that this most likely won't be a harem ending, and the actual ML is a mystery for once, like I hate when you know who the ML is and are just in pain bc you like 2nd lead more, I think they're leading to Daniel being main ML bc of the hints but so far nothing is confirmed and I love it, actual pain to figure out who she'll end up with and all the ML so far are just beautifully built characters
Also I like that she's just a normal person, like ye sometimes I like the OP FL it's a guilty pleasure, but still... She just seems so normal like if one of us read a story and suddenly ended up there, I can actually understand her thought process as opposed to I'm a genius and know everything XD

While I get that red haired guy is an asshole he's not being an asshole to the ML for no reason. He's being an asshole bc of something the father and the real veronica did. Knowing what the two of them did to the ML in the past life, we know that they're not good people, thus the cousin's hatred for veronica and her father may actually be justifiable. It's just unfortunate that ML has to deal bc she's pretending to be veronica.
However, he's also an asshole to other people. Tripping maids, forcing them into cursing their masters after threatening them... Sure, he may be more of an ass to the ML due to whatever may have happened in the past, but he's also in asshole to innocent people.

Y'all forgetting the part where after the maids question if he should be there, they start giggling/gossiping and insult him by saying he looks poor for a noble. I also understand that he was an asshole to the knight but that's possibly because he's protecting the enemy (the MC who he believes is the real daughter), hence the knight is also an enemy. I'm not saying he's not acting like an asshole. He is, and he shouldn't be treating the MC and knight this way as they've done nothing wrong, but the MC is pretending to be someone who is evil. How could the cousin possibly know it's a fake, and even if he knew, how would he know that she doesn't want to help the family but is actually planning on revenge? All I'm saying is people in the comment section were pretty quick to judge a character who's mean to the MC without considering the situation. Just wait and see why he's acting like this in the first place, he may have an actual reason.
I like this so much but ugh I hate in yaoi there's this trope that if the ex gf cheats and leaves it's probably the guy's fault cause he didn't fight for her... like what? Like the sister's bullshit "test" of "oh I cheated on you because I wanted you to tell me not to leave", and the manga acting like Shiga had a revelation that he was actually the bad guy because he didn't stop her. Like no. How was he supposed to read her fucking mind? Good people talk to their partner, discuss feelings, and don't cheat on one another. The sister is a bitch for cheating on his ass even though he was loyal and truly loved her.
Also, while we're talking about how fucked up the Suzuki family is, the dad fucking sucks. Like he set Tarou up for failure since childhood. Having an older sibling myself, I know just how easy it is to compare yourself to them and wonder if you'll be able to do as well as them. My parents constantly encouraged me though and insisted that we were different people who had different talents. Putting your child down isn't going to make them work harder, it's only going to keep them down. If you condition your child to think that no matter how hard they work they'll never be good enough, they will obviously lose the motivation to put effort in because they don't think it'll amount to anything. His dad sucks for alienating him and acting like it's his own fault that he doesn't have a backbone. Also the sister additionally sucks in this aspect because she literally talked shit about her own brother to Shiga. That is until our boy was like "nah he's fine", and she all of a sudden did a 180 and basically says "he actually works really hard and disregard my comments about him being a handful and bad from like 5 seconds ago teehee".

I personally don't mind cliches but there was just too much skimmed over. Also am I the only one that feels bad for the brother? The only reason why seme came back to take over the company is because of the uke.
