The sex is really good but the art isnt selling it. Their breasts (including the man) are so far down it looks off. At the same time, the collar bones are jutting out of their skin when they should be more relaxed. The girl's mouth is open 80% of the time and the lineart is the worst part of this shit. Why the fuck is the body/clothes blurry or drawn with a bigger brush, and why are the faces cleaner and sharper? Its also uncanny how good the hands and feet are compared to the fuckfest of anatomy and proportions the torso is in. Its as if they traced over porn, but drew the bodies too small, so blew it up using a transform tool, and added detail while rendering the face. The coloring for the bodies... I dont even think I need to mention that.
I cant believe I just got baited into thinking this was gonna be a good ass story??? Why did Dennis have to die, what do the sheep represent, why did Todd have to get to close to Dennis??? Like. Damn. I just feel like theres alit of motifs and symbolism without a narrative to connective them all
the narrative does connect it. todd isn't human. dennis was warned of this, to not trust anything coming down from the mountain. we see that when dennis sees the black wolf and shoots it in the leg/foot only for todd to come back with an injury on the same leg. more over, when todd is in his humanoid form the animals still have an aversion to him. his focus/gaze when dennis isn't looking is predatory. todd is a predator, to the sheep and to dennis who is much like the sheep. todd lures dennis in with seduction and affection which only leads to his ultimate demise same as todd killing the sheep. though this isn't all for nothing. todd wants, even needs love, validation, just someone else (like how wolves travel in packs). he doesn't like and doesn't want to be alone but also wants complete devotion from dennis. i'm sure with wolves the ultimate form of love is killing prey for them, like how dennis kills the sheep. it's all one big story of deception, obsession, and longing.
i think todd's voice was in dennis' head, but also sort of figurative for how he's brought dennis down to his level. dennis' death if just a sign of his obsessive devotion to todd until the end, i feel like we got hints to their unhealthy attachment to each other with how, in that time before when todd was gone dennis was going sort of stir crazy. i think the blood trail off the cliff was the blood of the sheep since dennis left them up there (hence why he had to come back because the owner knew that they possibly had time to save a few if he was fast enough). i think it trailing off was a bit of both, like it did create a trail in reality but also it was possibly sort of a road/path to his death ?
I actually dont think that the doc is lying on this one. Guwon seemed like he was going to kill teach if he didnt find out that he was a teacher. He has ALWAYS emphasized survival, even to the point of driving himself to lengths unnecessary. Id also like to point out tha during the doc's monologue he said something along the lines of "You're the only one who got to see him like this", which probably means that Guwon either wasnt this carefree with the residents before, or wasnt this illiterate. Maybe both. Because in doc's flashback, he mentioned that Guwon spoke very *directly* and with poise, which is something that this Guwon isnt that characteristic of. I personally think Guwon "changed" due to the brain damage he inflicted on himself, and thats fucking hilarious. All red flags can be turned into green flags if we just give them a violent little spanking from time to time!!!!
I know that people think he's lying because of the presence of children, but A: we dont know how many residents were in Stillwater by the time doc was taken to the town, and therefore Guwon could have "changed" as the town reached capacity and allowed children, B: We dont know how much time has passed since Doc was in Stillwater, meaning that those children couldve been born in the town.
And I know that Doc is catching strays for still agreeing to go with Guwon after his entire family was executed in front of him, but sheesh. I really dont blame the guy. In the moment, he was probably in a state of shock and couldnt say no. In hindsight, I dont think I would have the confidence to leave or kill myself. If he tried to leave, then he would probably die outside or get murdered in order to protect the town. If he kills himself, everything he fought for, what his wife and children died for, would've gone to waste. I know it seems cowardly for him to run from death like this, but death is absolutely terrifying. Especially when you've lost all morality, and you've been re-socialized for survival only. Death no longer carries the same significance as it does to our society.
And rq note, we finally understand where the whole "Sisyphus" theme directly comes into play with the story. Guwon is Sisyphus because he protects the people of Stillwater from death, allowing them to "cheat" themselves into longer lives by abandoning all morality and human empathy. Id even go abit further and say he's a manifestation of death itself.
I fucking hate the direction of this and I esp hated the FUCK out of this chapter. At several points I had to fucking question if this was even consentual or not. Woowon has always had a fucking problem with control had irked me, and this just set off the fucking flame. And yeah, I understand that Woowon has a toxic relationship with himself and refuses to be vulnerable in front of Seo Ahn, but fucking hell dude. Tf left a nasty taste in my mouth.

This was another good chapter.
- Maybe the forced shutdown and restart Thoth is referring to is their "past lives?"
-The original successor was most likely Osiris. He didnt use to be so much of a goblin before.
-I genuinely think Horus is going to make a prophecy to Seth during a time of emotional dismay and fuck shit up.
