I’m almost caught up and I just had to vent - no matter how much guilt he feels over what he did to the omega, all the fucking shit he put him through is just too big to live and let die.
I feel like it’s easy to forget or just let it go becuz the omega does and the story progresses in a way that encapsulates his growth but…

Jesus Christ it’s hard to feel bad for him even by chapter 60ish, I think post backstory and stuff, even then becuz you just think bout alllllll thenfucked up shit he did and ALMOST did to the omega and it’s like, woo if it wasn’t for the slight themes of purity / virginity / ownership then he would’ve let the omega go through that in that one scene with all those ppl huh?
And consequently every thing he did before and AFTER STILL linger - so really even if u have a shred of knowledge of why he’s like that, it’s like you were a horrible garbage ass excuse of a person.
And that’s not even to account for the fact his change just doesn’t even make sense? Like all of a sudden BAM He’s in love BAM he’s changing BAM he sees the omega as a person.
Like what HAPPENED? Did I miss something? Kid you not, the obsession between the leads like red Mansion make more sense then the switch up here.
HE HAS SUCH A STRONG IDEAL THAT OMEGAS ARE OBJECTS AND PROPERTY. SOCIETY IN THIS WORLD HAS SUCH A STRONG DEHUMANIZATION OF OMEGAS - so his switch up is just SOOO random?
Maybe, maybe if u dig real deep u can take some contextual clues and pull them out to make it into a cohesive reason - maybe he wanted to be loved all along and hid it before his genuine demon disguise - and it still doesn’t give any good reason to switch up the way he did post confession.
And ok POST season 2 - it’s like he’s an entirely reformed, post recovery, post therapy, post rehab character. It’s like great for your mental state long run sure, but it’s also like HOW HOW DIDNTHIS HAPPEN? R u gonna tell me he was always like this? Fuckijg lies. I just don’t get it.
It’s like ok ok I’m reading this as much as I can with an open mind and yes change is always possible, even for the worst of people, but I just can’t fathom how quickly he changed.
It’s not even about the pace of it, it’s just one minute he’s a dick and then next he’s not.
The entire time he’s always flipped flopped on how he treated the omega sure, but not like that? He’d toss a bone here and there and then get possessive, but one minutes he’s giving the bare minimum and the next he’s like WHOA WHAT A TIME TO HE ALIVE AND LOVE. LOVE LOVE LOVE. LOVE ME. OH I DONT WANNA HURT U. SAD. DEPRESSION.
WIFE GONE. MISS WIFE. REGRET.
and he’s suddenly a better man than he’s ever been. Not even his back story really makes sense into his change it’s just infuriating to read it all in one sitting really.
Maybe if I had more time in between to stew on the change like the weeks it took for the story to come out, yeah, then ig I’d be like oh he’s changing how greatttt. But no I’m reading it in one go and it really feels like night and day.
Sincently though it’s then enjoyable to read. It gives u such whiplash from the binge read when the alpha changes. Still again, my gripe is that the beginning was just SO FUCKING STRONG, that it’s almost impossible to read without thinking bout it at least a few times. I’m glad he changes and the story doesn’t stay harsh.
I just hope it sticks to the fact he’s going to have to repent for what he did more than just a happy ending with the babies, but we’ll see.
NOW this is all to say it’s a decent (?) story, it’s doing its job of getting u hooked with its plot, but Christ all mighty, I had to say a prayer too every fucking chapter.

It’s a dumb smut manhwa, you REALLY shouldn’t take it seriously since a lot of it is just not good if u think bout it too deeply.
The ML is a lil bit of a prick(at first), the bottom is dumb, and the 2 ML is just… a perv, but he’s entertaining at least. he is SO FUCKING FUNNY in the randomest of times, AND SO ARE THE FUCKING MAIN COUPLE. They’re so dumb it’s actually painful, but so fucking funny.
Still that first time was NOT it, the bottom sleeps with the 2nd ML first and it is entirely dubious AT BEST.
The ML is the male lead and they do end up together, there is only ONE threesome in the entire thing and it’s just dumb fun.

Anyway, aside from that, it makes sense narratively because the setting is horrendous and the story sets itself for for a dark tell - personally I don’t like the SA scenes really who does, but I did really like the story.
The main characters are compelling as fuck, and you want to root for them to just cop a win one of these chapters. Each interaction with them is cute and stuff until it gets to the more serious parts and even then they genuinely yearn for each other so much.
They do fucked up shit that they think it’s better for the other and continue to strive despite the hardships they face

My god, I came back to reread this since I forgot entirely bout it and now I remember why I wiped it from my memory. The amount of fucked up shit must’ve been why I couldn’t remember and ALSO becuz I stopped reading at the “end” of the story and didn’t reach the side stories or epilogue so I GENUINELY THOUGHT THEY HAD DIED.
As I reread it, I kept getting glimpses of the fucked up shit that made me stop and recoil.
That POS garbage ass mf villain guy, FUUUCK HIM. He comes in all savior complex, fucks the mom FUCKS HER SON and then proceed to PIMP HIM OUT??? Fucking Christ, I felt my blood boil all over again and he just kept getting worse.
the weird incest twins and the gang assault scenes with one of them and the MC and then the brother? Dude my stomach was fucking hurting, I just skipped them chapters, didn’t even read idgaf if it’s plot relevant I can take context clues.
I was so fucking satisfied when they said that fucking garbage ass pos died at the end I was cheering and honestly, I didn’t mind that the MC had lost his memories since he had to deal with so much fucked up shit. But then them falling into the ice had me screaming the first time I read it. I was so upset.
And now I finally got to what I hadn’t read, the side stories.
Where tf do I even begin? I was in anguish, hurting, and happy all at once.
HATED that the MX thought the ML was that POS, but I get why the ML let him think so. It was so nice to see him what he was before the trauma and rebuild his relationship even tho ML was grieving their past and trying his hardest.
I sometimes think maybe it would’ve been better had he not remembered but MC was tough from the beginning so I’m happy they at least got their happy ending.
Overall a hard read but a decent one.

I liked the story. I’ll just start with that.
However, in all seriousness, the ML is super toxic. HOWEVER, that seems to kinda be the vibe of the story? Like a lowkey obsessive top and a high key permissive bottom? It’s like, I felt really bad for the bottom for what he had/has to deal with the top. I think adding to their backstory before the pregnancy makes their relationship a little bit more easy on the thoughts, but like, idk he’s still super dismissive of the bottom and obsessive. The friend is kind of an asshole too, his initial reaction to the bottom getting assaulted by the top is ass, but I think that speaks more about the rape culture in Korea than anything else. And then like it sort of felt like he only got pissed at the ML once the ML showed clear dislike at the friend, and that’s like… bruh not before? Ok. He has a lot of valid advice too but it felt disingenuous at that point.
Anyway, oddly enough I did like the story. The ML is suspect as fuck, but he’s a good parent. I saw some complaining about the bottom being so useless at parenting he doesn’t even knowledge his kids, but he does - he’s a good dad given everything. He’s so fucking loving towards his kids and his relationship with the top isn’t bad at all (despite his obsessive tendencies). He kinda sucks at upholding his boundaries but he still gets mad and the top relents becuz it’s not as if he’s a “yandere” per se.
And their kids? So fucking cute. The art style is unique but it’s cute in a weird way.
I really enjoyed their past life too - having seen snippets of it in the original story is fine, but expanding it gives the top’s obsession even more of a reason. It’s not an excuse for his actions, but it is an explanation that is needed for the story.
And seeing them be in love then makes it so much more gratifying given how sad the past life is.
Props to the past wife btw, what a fucking g. She was originally hostile, but not mean. She then softened and understood where the ML was coming from and same thing with the MC since she gave them both grace. She let him close to her when she was pregnant and even let the ML mourn. Truly I felt even bad for her considering the ML followed soon after.
So yes it is an incredibly toxic story BUT NOT MORE THAN THE OTHERS??? The reviews on B*to had me thinking this was gonna be the worst story imaginable like the worst, but honestly it really blanks in comparison to what we got.
Chapter 45
I just need them to talk! JUST FUCKING TALK! I was so sure this story would piss me off but surprisingly not as much as I thought it would.
When it said the Alpha was a playboy - I was ready for pain, but you can almost immediately tell after the second time sleeping together that he’s hooked. And then you get the backstory and he’s as hopelessly romantic as the omega (FUCK the pastomega, I’m not sure of the age gap but I’m sure it was still whack enough he got together with the high schooler he was tutoring?) he just wanted to be romantic with the pastomega and instead he fucking got betrayed and warped.
And the omega being a romantic is KILLING ME becuz they both want basically the same thing, but the alpha is SO SET in not acknowledging his feelings while also acting on them, PLEASE PLEASE JUST TELL HIM.
Becuz the omega is sooo ready to be locked into the relationship and the alpha is too! Hes just not wanting to admit it - goddamn it.
And he keeps saying dumb shit, with the fuckijg yellow haired freak on the prowl the alpha is gonna say some shit at the wrong place and wrong time and hurt the omega.
Anxious to see where it goes but surprisingly not pissed.

This is messy as fuck, worst review I’ve ever done but whatever.
I fucking loved them honestly. I like that they settled their relationship early on cuz if it was a back and forth I would’ve died, and we would’ve missed all the damn good shit that came after the initial 20 chapters.
I can’t believe it, overall literally such a healthy couple. Sure they got their fights and shit, but I’ve never once felt uncomfortable or angry by the fights, some dislike for the anguish it momentarily causes sure, but they’re still so good becuz u get to see with each obstacle that comes how much THEY FUCKING LOVE EACHOTHER.
There was no “big bad” just a couple trying to learn the ins and outs of what it means to be together and them growing as people and I think that’s what’s beautiful about it.
Side stories
I can’t believe it was 40 chapters of side story dude at that point just make it a 3rd season.
Aside from that I’m glad that they did add them tho becuz oh my god it still adds so much to them. Their sex is NASTY and DISRESPECTFUL and SO SO GOOD.
I kinda did dislike the fight they have at the party, it’s needed It’s like uke forgets he’s the semes FIRST relationship at that and he’s stated before he’s JEALOUS of his previous relationships with other people and the first thing he does is get mad at the seme cuz he’s talking to other people, meanwhile bozo over there had his hand on his waist, and he yells at the seme why isn’t he madder that he was talking to someone he hooked up with? First time I was also glad ex was there to push em along. I get that it’s conflict that needs to be resolved between that but what agitation bro.
BUT DONT WORRY THEY DO FIX IT. They fix it so well and then immediately right back to their cuteness, I like how they show the awkwardness of a fight like that and the makeup afterwards.
AND MY GOD THAT NASTY NASTY DISRESPECTFUL BLOOD CURLING SEX SCENE WITH THE TOP TIED UP? I’ve never seen a top become so undone by a bottom like this. I think it’s so good to see the top allow himself to be vulnerable with the bottom. It’s so cute for non sex scenes and so fuckinf hot for sex scenes. You don’t feel like he still has the upper hand which happens sometimes in other manhwa with a “power” bottom, this feels like he 100% hands the reigns to the bottom and I loved it.

Just end me - the cutest. Winding down the story for a cute ending, now on to the side stories.

I love the parents and his sister. Establishing their relationship is the last for one another? Just get married like now.
Chapters 80-90
They’re fucking LIKE THEYRE FIGHTING JESUS. Hot as fuck - anyway i get that the ex is a model but like im tired of seeing him, bye bye chap. U were good for the character growth, idgaf bout u tho.
Chapters 70-80
Towards the end of it you can’t really even hate the ex cuz both of them were kinda toxic. Like the ex was more of a piece of shit, but the uke def fell in hard with the ex too. It’s not inherently bad either it’s a good show of his growth against his traumas. I think it’s cute too how they emphasize that they DO TALK and there are just certain things that take some more time than others to get to.
Chapters 60-70
I typically fucking HATE when they gotta deal with the exes / hookups but in this one it’s only the ex and it’s SO GOOD. It’s so good to see the growth from the characters.
Chapters 40-50
Gotta say the way they do eventually manage to communicate and grow their relationship is really good. It doesn’t feel like it relies more on one or the other and it makes their relationship so much more bearable to read about in the long run.
They have so many cute moments from then on and it’s so enjoyable.
Unrelated rant - chapter 17-18
I gotta finish it but I will say with a certainty I cannot stand the trope of virgin x experienced cuz they always ALWAYS make it super fucking weird.
“Oh I get to take ur first time, how exciting” like bitch???? Or they get jealous if they think theyre NOT a virgin for a moment - and it’s like, ok so is ur partner then valid at getting upset that they’re not YOUR first?

I’ve never met such a contradiction in an omega. Smart. Stupid. Head strong. Weak. Capable. Useless. I wanted to root for him and then I wanted to tear his hair out of his roots. It’s like pls pick urself up.
Secondly, the alpha was a fuckijg scumbag worse than you’d ever see - not even the alpha from kiss me liar was this bad. He beat tf outta the omega, he rapes him, he corners him at every instance, he insults him, he blames him and he takes every emotion he has out on the omega.
For example, I was fucking BAFFLED when the brother kissed the omega and he fucks the beta actor in front of the omega out of anger, VIOLENTLY at that, and the shoves him aside to continue his reign of terror on the omega.
Another example, locking him tf up in every goddamn instance the omega even as so looks at him wrong or breathes the outside air of the city.
Literally the worst fucking ML.
And the side characters? By god they’re all so FUCKING STUPID. Everyone communally shares a brain and the omega has majority share while the others fight each other for a snippet of the brain cells sometimes.
The romance? Non existence. The drama? Dead. It was so long for it to be so nothing.
And by god was the ML ugly in so many panels. Both in personality and in art (the artist is VERY good at portraying emotions but sincerely FUCK the ML-ugly ass bitch)
Even when it gets around to tying it all together and he gets that dumbass “redemption arc” he’s done so much fucking garbage, it’s hard to like him becuz would he have done half of the shit he does for the omega had the omega not been 1. An omega and 2. His OG partner? Idc if he says he would’ve, he was already using the MC as a replacement for his og partner it was just so fucking stupid.
It’s either crazy x crazy you can really enjoy, and if u gotta do the toxic ones it’s the crazy x victim with a backbone, but this isn’t even that becuz he was a stalker - it’s just crazy x coward who realized he fucked up.
I can see why this isn’t exactly the best but it’s not exactly the worst either. There was a lot of hatred for the seme, but given the BL logic and time I just kept pushing to finish it.
Either way, nothing really takes away that he was a raging dick in the beginning. And the uke was pretty goddamn docile, but their relationship makes sense becuz if it hadn’t worked like that and it was Karis instead (goated btw) then they would’ve never gotten together.
It wasn’t very clear to me how the seme developed feelings for the uke either becuz he treated him like shit the entire time, but ok.
Anyway, I’m all garbled, to get my thoughts on the story out -
The main couple is fine - not really that most entertaining point of the story with the side couple being so much more healthy and entertaining but whatever, sometimes the toxicity of the main couple was entertaining enough I suppose.
I think my biggest gripe was towards the end a lot of plot points were left undeveloped - they didn’t tie shit towards the end and it felt like the “villains” of the story won with out “heroes” walking out with their tails between their legs.
It felt pretty unsatisfying overall to read since there was no resolution to the very clear plot of the world and NOT romance wise. I couldn’t have given a shit bout the romance between the MC and the ML at that point, but whatever I suppose they got their “happy ending.”

I also hated how they treated kyon when he was discovered to be part of the “enemy” group, but then they let Christopher go as if it was no fucking sweat off their back. I didn’t hate Ryan, but by god was his bias showing. Even towards the end I didn’t want him to die, but ok fine it fits narratively so then he wants to do the selfish act of taking Christopher’s memories away, alright alright - when r u gonna give them back so he can mourn properly and see how he grew as a person - oh never? Oh we’re just gonna end it with him being “fine” and looking like a robot? Oh ok. Alright. Nice. Ryan is dead, Christopher ain’t know shit and could easily at that point be coerced back into Intron or whatever the fuck is was called now that his memory of Ryan is gone but whatever, let’s not address that elephant in the room.
my god where do I even begin? I really thought it’d be one of those stereotypical “gay guy falls for straight guy and they eventually round to get together with the 2nd lead; a gay guy ending up as fodder” but IT ENTIRELY THREW ME FOR A LOOP!!!!

I love every character even if they’re assholes becuz they have so much dimension to them, and the fact their relationships evolve so much makes it 10 times better.
It’s like, you might begin even hating them for example the straight guy - but you can’t - you can’t becuz they’re all so amazingly human. Typically in BL it’s very easy to categorize the characters as “the MC” “the uke” “the ML” “the seme” “the best friend” but these characters don’t exactly fit those categories to a T. They’re all have so much dimension, it’s hard to really encapsulate them into the stereotypical character archetypes.
Yeona or however u spell her name - she is a fucking Queen, a femme fatale, I love her and she’s just a side character. Same with her whack ass boyfriend / ex. Same with the red head friend, I’ll try to remember his name but he is so good too! Such a good support character. Why? Becuz they’re so well fucking written and then you go to the leads.
And the art? Sure it’s not the shiniest, but I love it to death. You can see the change from season 1 to 2, but I love how you can see THEIR AGE!!! I LOVE IT! I love that you can see them visibly age so much!
It was just amazing really, I wasn’t even mad at how it developed despite my genuine hatred for love triangles, I just hurt deeply for everyone involved in this case. I really do think if you can handle a losing party, give it a read.

It’s not bad - it’s 61 chapters and it’s precise with the story it’s telling. I think it’s just a shrug-worth story. The main couple is a lil boring and a lil weird considering he picked the seme out of an orphanage and was there for his growth. He also was using him for a majority of his lifetime and it felt like a very unbalanced relationship which they knowledge but I wish they would’ve delved deeper into that issue - that he was using him. But whatever.
The side couple was pleasantly enjoyable SO I WISH it would’ve been a case of - “oh shit where’d the main couple go” cuz I wanted to see so much more of them! I was literally groaning when the main couple would come back on screen when they were developing the side couple, and it ends so abruptly for them.
Either way, story was meh.

Both of them have their issues and yet seo is treated like a saint and baek is seen as “annoying” even tho seo is straight up rude and hostile in many scenes prior to their relationship developing. Given is it caused by his trauma, but does Baek not have trauma too? So why doesn’t he behave more like a jerk? Why is his only crime being “annoying” to the bottom?Can’t believe I’m having to defend a Seme like this.
Either way Seo does DEVELOP GREATLY and it’s fantastic he does becuz he becomes 10x more enjoyable afterwards, but like I said they’re still fucking doing this push (Seo) and pull (Baek) by chapter 80. I was ripping my damn hair out - just admit you like him for Christ sake.

MC isn’t use to being vulnerable and open to begin with and even LESS after his incident with his brother and mother, so having to relearn to love and then having to expand his horizons and allow himself to be loved is an incredibly awkward endeavor for him.
He seems uninterested and sometimes the tiniest bit hostile and whiny, but the top likes that about him and he understands as much. And the MC slowly changes to accept certain things in their romantic life even if it requires a lot of openness that he’s not use to having.
It’s unconventional for a romance but that’s what makes it great.
