I fully agree with you that tiktokers and other content creators online are completely undermining rape when they use "grape" or the grape emoji. What started as a way for commenters to avoid being censored when talking about extremely serious sexual crimes in the real world has just become a silly, quirky shorthand for people who are too chicken to say rape. Unfortunately it is necessary for a lot of people to censor "bad words" like rape and suicide because changing the words altogether just to be cheeky is just lame as fuck.
