I can’t help but feel that there might still be misunderstandings with the letters. Like how Karel never got the letter Sasha wrote before he left to start his new life, what if the contents that Julian wrote about Karel in his letters are always intercepted and changed somehow? Like, by that Duke’s wife. And maybe the replies were never from Sasha personally. Just the tickets. Because it just doesn’t make sense to me how Sasha could cut off Karel so completely when even if he didn’t love him the way Karel did, he still had strong feelings for him, not to mention the murder. The way Sasha reacted to learning of Karel’s murder and how he’s starting to start over again with him now didn’t feel like he has been trying to forget about Karel up until that moment. Maybe I’m being a complete delulu right now and just grasping for straws here. Regardless, I’m still sticking by this theory until I have Sasha’s pov for those moments and am proven completely wrong.┗( T﹏T )┛
