Girl,YOU took the wrong route! You could have “love” beside your education and all yet decided to leave everything behind to stay with your husband only to prove your parents love will always be enough! All the hate the husband has been getting is more than what he deserves! He had to work his ass off to provide a spoilt helpless girl a good life but it was not an easy task and he’s not the smartest candle on the cake, now he’s mixed with wrong people to pay off the debt! If she wasn’t so helpless and passive maybe she could help her husband a little to build a better life for themselves but look at her now, little to zero self esteem and backbone yet blames people’s kindness for her depressive sad life, you had it hard but you brought it on yourself so take accountability for your miserable state cuz your entitlement and blame shifting attitude is making me gag!

I haven’t read the book but doesn’t he remember the 1st life, why’s he making such stupid financial decisions?
Just because he remembers how he failed before, that doesnt mean he knows why. He didn’t magically gain a degree in finances when he remembered his past life, just that he was ruined by his own poor choices and that being scammed by the ml was his final downfall. He is already trying to do better by hiring a better financial advisor. And getting the ml on his side from the get go goes a long way to keep him from turning on him in the future, especially if he doesnt get between his relationship with the omega in this life. He’s being as smart about this as he possibly can in his situation. Plus we don’t know exactly for how long he has remembered his past life and what he had the power and knowledge to change since its from the ml’s pov.
Not trusting a man who you meet on the street and introduces himself as a charity owner doesn’t need a degree in finance, it needs common sense!
I mean that one definitely comes from a place of trauma. The charities are for orphans and the homeless. He was homeless on and off in his last life and never allowed to know his children. He has a lot of deep-seated trauma that he has no outlet for. We have no clue what he’s up to while away from the ml since we dont see his pov this time around. I imagine he’s been wandering the slum, looking for people like himself to help, but that’s just speculation. I’m not saying it’s smart but we dont really have the full context.
