It's a mixture of toxicity and fluff bec the stereotype is that all green flag stories are all about being fluff/ nice etc. The first part I cant really say it is rape per se coz they were really making out at the elevator with ofc Hyeon oh already thinking they would do the deed. It's just Ga-in stopped in the middle of it, restrained Hyeon-oh. For me restraining Hyeon-oh is a preventive measure on his part coz what if he revealed his intentions and harm him? I mean you really cant tell. He is a chaebol and obviously he has a lot to lose. That's also the same logic of him releasing his pheromones while Hyeon-oh was tied up. It looked like he wanted him to be worthy/sane enough to have sx with him coz he is a cery much dominant omega and if Hyeon oh oh is just like other typical alpha he will just lose his reason and maybe end up marking/hurtin him. Besides, Gain was not touching him or anything like that. He was just walking, and sat on the bed not even holding him. That's why Ga-in said it's not rape. For those who want to complain about SA I mean yea go ahead, but I hope you do bear in mind that the characters here are demon doppelgangers with the intention of KLLing the original owner of the body. So obviously you can expect untoward scenes like SA, violence etc. The plot itself isn’t just a normal romance. So either you read through it and enjoy the story or drop it if this isnt for you.
I just hope they add psychological tag on this.

the premise here is that underworld makes doppelgängers to replace criminal humans for the good of humanity. In Korean/Chinese/Japanese underworld doesn’t necessarily mean evil. the underworld holds all souls for reincarnation. And that’s actually where the soul heals to move forward. So the whole evil demons are doppelgängers doesn’t make sense. Technically they should be stopping SA instead of committing it according the premise of the plot itself.
Oh sorry. No psychological tag yet. But yes it should be added. We still don’t know how the ml lived or died after the kidnapping.

It’s not really about Asian, eastern or western mythologies. Those are an interesting topic in themselves.
Thus far the plot hasn’t referred to any mythological figure of any lore of the underworld. Just the term reapers and demons. Demons are making doppelgängers. And reapers are going about collecting the dead. I am going by the premise of the story that doppelgängers are supposed to be good.
And as to your other comment. Well yes I am sure. At the end of the day it’s still underworld. I was pointing out that it’s not synonymous to the western idea of it. But I am saying that based of my knowledge through reading ALOT. could be wrong.
