Oh man, this chapter really had me fighting tears. Both Heesoo's and Hyesung's situation is so desperate rn. Neither of them know how to react - be it in regards to the heat, be it in regards to their uncertain future. They are so lost, and they keep making mistakes and hoping it will turn out fine. So when it DOESN'T, and it only makes matters worse... well, I can understand why they both would cry and cling together. It may not look like it, but I think Heesoo and Hyesung are really alike, and they should both have each other's back, instead of being at each other's throat.

It's so weird to me that people are talking about how possessive the seme is and that the uke should leave him. I've read my fair share of yaois and boy this seme is one of the most normal ones I've seen out there. I am not excusing his behaviour, but there are a looot of truly possessive and toxic semes out there (ahem.... kay sensei) whom everyone seems to think are dream boyfriends, while here he deserves to lose his lover for pretty much vanilla stuff. Again, the vibe I got is that, although the seme is overbearing, it's always in a "I am not really serious" kind of way; there's always this comic feeling around his antics, and if the uke accepts, it's not because he truly believes the seme will die if he, say, meets his old friends, but because he's fine not meeting his old friends to begin with. Well, at least he realizes his behaviour is not exactly healthy, but again, uke shows that whatever may be wrong in his antics, he always accepts them by own volition. Nice story, deserves a higher ranking.

Entende?

The uke may love the seme just as much as the seme loves him, because he was the only one who excepted him fully whereas he felt others didn't or wouldn't. They accepted each other. The uke loves the seme unconditionally regardless or rather despite of the seme's anxiety. The seme thought he manipulated the uke into the relationship and thought that he would one day lose him because of it. But it turned out that the uke was in love with the seme all along, and his possessive behavior wasn't suffocating, it proved that the seme loved him as much as he loved the seme.
The french chef was an idiot trying to break them apart so he could take him and his talent, didn't realize that he didn't have the same goals as most. The uke wanted to make cakes yes, but he wanted his seme to taste them first so in essence he wanted to make cakes that his lover liked.
At least that was what I took from the story.

Me, whispering to myself as i desperately zoom in YuYang's eyes to see what was in his cellphone screen: help YangYang Joy
Man I really love how everyone's reactions in this manhwa are so... real. If I accidentally picked up a video call whilst crying you better BET your ass I am going to hang up and then pretend nothing is wrong. Not the healthiest of routes? Certainly. But real.
Also: I am kinda bummed LiHuan is confessing over the phone. I wanted him to see YuYang's face when doing so. But well, beggars can't be choosers, and I am hella excited for the next chapters ヾ(☆▽☆)
