Holding off on reading updates for a bit 'cause I'm gonna need to binge read this one-- again lol
But seeing ya'll go back and forth with this shit and "aww poor Taekyung" when he shoulda put a bullet in the old bitch the moment he found out her cancer was gone and served his time.
Let's not forget that he had irrefutable evidence that she was the murderer on top of corruption and whatnot while being in the police force. He coulda locked her ass up instead of doing what he did to Heeseo KNOWING DAMN WELL that while he was living a happy life with his foster family Heeseo was suffering from abuse and suicidal tendencies after witnessing his mother burn to a fucking crisp.
"Kidnapping and rape apologists" when Heeseo suffered so much and was never afforded the professional care he needed 'cause no one around him was adult enough to actually do anything for him. Even after Taekyung learned that Heeseo was being abused by his foster family and that he was extremely suicidal he pretended it had nothing to do with him so long as he tossed money at the problem to make it go away.
Heeseo is the way he is 'cause he watched the only adult in his life that loved him burn to death, his foster family heinously abused him and stole things from him and then when he finally thought he had found someone to trust he finds out that the mothefucker covered for the woman that murdered his mother in cold blood and is rotten to her fucking core.
I'd be busted in the head, too.

Soma and Yoshida both confirmed that when Soma asked Wataru out that Soma had already moved on from Yoshida.
Where are ya'll seeing that Soma isn't over Yoshida still when it's mentioned several times in the final chapter??

no fr im so confused too ??? i checked some comments before finishing and rly thought it was gonna be some bittersweet ending where soma is still not over his ex but he literally said otherwise TWICE and its even confirmed by the ex himself that soma is completely in love with wataru now reading comprehension where

I reread the final chapter TWICE before making my post and it doesn't say anywhere that Soma I still in love with his ex LOL
Like, I tried to see if there was a panel or a bubble I was missing where he admits that maybe he's still not completely over Yoshida, but all I saw was the both of them confirming that he was done with his ex. Yoshida even stated that he was happy Soma found a new love 'cause that meant he could finally focus on his future, too. It's the whole reason Wataru became comfortable and enjoyed hanging out with Yoshida by the time they were done eating lol

For the record:
Moving on from ex ≠ no longer in love with ex
While it's true Soma didn't explicitly say he was still in love with his ex, he also hasn't denied it either at this point. IMO if I was in Wataru's position (and I actually have been in something similar with my ex), I'd still have a hard time not doubting or feeling insecure about Soma's feelings and commitment.
That's not to say Soma's isn't serious about him. But their whole history revolved around unrequited feelings for someone else. Even when they entered a relationship in chapter 5 Soma admitted he couldn't say he wasn't in love with is ex anymore. Kudos to Soma that he was transparent about his feelings with Wataru. But with all the messiness that's happened between them, I can empathize with why commenters don't trust Soma.
One top of that, Soma blindsiding Wataru with a meetup with his ex doesn't exactly make him look any better to me.

It still doesn't make any sense to me that ya'll think Soma doesn't actually love Wataru tho lol
And initially yeah seeing Yoshida was a put-off, but by the end of the meal Wataru and Yoshida were acting like the best of buds and Soma was acting like he was showing off the love of his life to his ex. It's why Yoshida states that he's glad Soma has found someone new to love 'cause now he can move on/not feel guilty basically about how they split.
I think people are just hung up on it being "love" in this situation. I've had bad splits with friends and even a couple exes of my own that I still care for or that still bother me. My partner of nearly 5 years knows these things, too, and doesn't see it as me not really being in love with them just that I am a person who cares and loves deeply even if the other person hurt me.
If this was a situation where the relationship was less intimate, like they were ex-friends, the backlash wouldn't be this bad even if some people cherish friendships more than romantic interests.

No no but I'm so confused. Remember in chapter 4 https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/we_ll_get_our_happy_ending/uu/br_chapter-191773/pg-1/
This scene, he's saying he realised how he's still so in love with the ex ( tho he says he also loves wataru). And remind me if I'm wrong but the "asking out" happens in the next chapter, ch 5 right? "I can't say I don't love Yoshida but I really want to be your bf and I love you" ?
So he meets the ex for new year in chapter 4 and at this point he hasn't even asked wataru out, let alone wataru saying he can't be with him yet...so
Wth is this? https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/we_ll_get_our_happy_ending/uu/br_chapter-201043/pg-1/
This scene from the last chapter is a flashback to chapter 4 ? The new year right? So what are they talking about? Why is he saying he's already asked wataru out and got rejected coz he gave wataru a half assed answer? And that when he asked him out he had already moved on from the ex......but then he goes home and according to ch 4 he whines to wataru about how he's still in love with Yoshida. Doesn't the "asking out" happen much later from the day of new year and not before it? I'm dying lol
Plz tell me what I'm missing...??

Damn, it's only been 7 chapters.
Take a benzo and chill lol

JJ knew how Leo's personality was yet still fails to communicate with him on all fronts and chooses to just cut him off entirely.
Leo has a very arrogant personality and he's quick to get angry. He's also got a massive ego and doesn't think about the consequences his actions may bring.
I feel tho that JJ has seen how Leo reacts to being criticized ((like with how he greatly improved his racing skills after JJ pointed out his faults)) but is just choosing this time around to justify-- not say anything?? Which doesn't make sense seeing as they had been dating for 5 years so why choose to not talk things out this late in the game??
It feels like JJ has just been letting Leo do whatever for so long that now he thinks the only option is to just put distance between them and not even have a discussion about what needs to change. Leo isn't without fault, but we've seen from his perspective how much he loves JJ ((even giving him a corny ass nickname like Fortuna/Goddess of Victory or Luck)) and that the reason why he's being so stubborn is 'cause everyone automatically assumes Leo is at fault. He's the only one that actively wants to have a talk and JJ just shuts up or tells him that it's useless.
He wouldn't even talk about the head poaching thing from a rival team even tho it was something that happened, I'm guessing, a year ago when things were still apparently fine between the two of them.

It says "comedy" in the tags, but that's only 'cause it's mostly lighthearted and the characters form a literal comedy duo lol
Tbh it's a lot deeper and emotional than the tags and comments give it credit for.

I think I'm just tired of "bl elitists" ruining any semblance of fun or enjoyment for people before they even give something a chance.
Things are a lot more interesting if you just spend the time to check something out for yourself rather than let some turbo loser tell you something is shit while they lord themselves as "the bl specialist" or some shit lol

Ya'll shitting on Tomoe when he was the one taken advantage of when he's tried to walk away from his ex. It wasn't his fault that the mfer showed up at his place during his heat cycle KNOWING he couldn't resist the man he was still in love with.
Not to mention they obviously did it unprotected ((which is on the alpha imo since Tomoe was planning to spend his heat alone and isolated)) which led to Tomoe becoming pregnant, miscarrying and now unable to ever have a kid with someone who ACTUALLY loves and cares for him.
He's lucky that Aoi isn't a typical alpha and doesn't believe in the whole "spread the alpha gene no matter what" bs. Yeah, he's probably gonna be a lil sad 'cause he did dream about doing family stuff with the person he chooses to love and bond with, but if Tomoe is worth it to him to give that up then more power to him.
I think Tomoe deserves another chance with someone who isn't just gonna buckle to societal pressures and abandon him.
Ya'll are just a bunch of chastity perverts lol

We've seen countless times how easy it is to manipulate and rob omegas of their own free will via pheromone abuse from alphas. Yeah, he shoulda ran when he could, but Tomoe was convinced it was true love and was already suffering from low self-esteem due to basically being an "out of season" omega.
Idek I just think ya'll are being prejudice as hell lol

I think people are more concerned about the cheating aspect than the fact that Tomoe is practically raped and molested by a man who can't make a single grown-up decision for himself and abuses his power as an alpha.
Aoi is more of an adult and he's barely in his 20s lol
That, and the wife already knew about them and tbh till I actually see the discussion she has with her husband about not bonding with Tomoe I'm gonna have faith that she's doing it out of safety and concern for Tomoe. I don't wanna believe she's vindictive towards another omega who has had any chance of a future robbed from them by an alpha who can't get his shit together.

I see it so often in comments and it makes me sick for personal reasons.
"I don't like that the uke used to sleep around" "I really wish the seme wasn't such a manwhore" "I don't understand why the uke had to be such a slut" "I really wish they had stayed virgins"
Then in this scenario we have a subgenre, omegaverse, that is known for drastic power imbalance between the secondary genders and people are mad at the character who tried to make a break but ended up being taken advantage of by someone who has physical power over him.
They're judging Tomoe just as badly as the bigoted characters in the story. And I get that he wasn't necessarily perfect, but it takes two to cheat and at least he wants nothing to do with his ex anymore and is doing his best to move on.

Ooooooooh.
This is gonna fucking hurt.

oh no I understood. The writing can be topnotch esp, the deep dive into her characters.
I was jest adding a difference.. I could never forget everything that happened to Ryuu. In prison, or even when he regained his memories and remembered the fall of his parents.
..his life was a literal tragedy:((... until he never existed. Sad. I gotta stop here LoL smh
I went through the same "I can't fall in love so I must be aroace" period after my first intimate relationship I had left me with severe trauma. It took me nearly a decade to finally work through it enough to realize I can actually feel romantic feelings toward someone and now I've been in a loving, sickeningly sweet relationship with my current partner for nearly 5 years lol
Not to say that being aro is bad, but in this case after hearing about what Fukami went through with a past boyfriend and how his parents both passed away seemingly unexpectedly ofc the guy would be terrified to fall in love or cherish someone deeply ever again.
With family he's got the excuse of "we're related so I have to love and cherish them", but with a romantic partner you could just choose to close them off or deny your own feelings to avoid being hurt.
I'm happy his sister said something. Hopefully this snaps his head out of his ass and makes him realize that living in fear of losing someone isn't an excuse to hurt himself and those he loves.
I MEANT TO LIKE BUT THEN ACCIDENTALLY CLICKED DISLIKE HWEE ㅠㅠㅠ
It's OK. I'll like my own post for the first time to counter the dislike lol
