Ooooooooh.
This is gonna fucking hurt.
oh no I understood. The writing can be topnotch esp, the deep dive into her characters.
I was jest adding a difference.. I could never forget everything that happened to Ryuu. In prison, or even when he regained his memories and remembered the fall of his parents.
..his life was a literal tragedy:((... until he never existed. Sad. I gotta stop here LoL smh
Like, ofc I'm excited for bottom dom x top sub, but I felt like everything was going too smoothly anyways once they met. I'm still happy to see bottom doms, but personally as a switch who mostly bottoms as a dom it's kinda nice to see how they'll struggle and get through this.
At least it's better than the other switch I know of in a different series that abused his sub for ages 'cause he was too afraid to ever be submissive. Touma has always been sweet and more of a softer dom the entire time so I kinda suspected he might be a switch in the end.
Also, this idea that I'm seeing crop up that this isn't "actually domsubverse" just 'cause it isn't hard-core BDSM is making me cackle. Not every play has to be ropes and chains or absolutely humiliating your partner. Some of us literally feel the most fulfilled just wearing an accessory to show "ownership" while others do enjoy more rough, violent while consensual plays. It just goes to show how ignorant you guys are about BDSM/kink/fetish culture.
╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Not to cause discord but this IS rlly the most domsubverse story ever bc 99% of them are like this. Ive never rlly came across one that doesn't end with "the power of love cure our needs for anythings above spicy vanilla"
Like somehow I do wish authors will use this subgenre to explore more bdsm dynamics (like this one w a sub top x dom bottom) and include plays with particular kinks and not just do a slightly rough sex first chapter and then just normal sex w a "good boy" in the middle for the rest of the volume
Tbh the only thing this series has on other domsubverse's is the fact that the dom/switch is a bottom lol
I know of one other series that, if I remember correctly, had a dom bottom but it wasn't domsubverse it was just a young man who did BDSM shows and the older guy that fell in love with his dom queen act.
Other than that tho most series with this trope are pretty much the same. People are acting like this trope is super diverse or something when it's less so than omegaverse.
Well domsubverse and BDSM are 2 separate genre, domsubverse is like this in which they have secondary gender that separated from the male and female, those are the dom and sub and occasionally switch which switching the dom into sub and vice versa and there are normal which dont have those secondary, so think of it like omegaverse where there are the alpha (equivalent to the dom) and omega (equivalent to the sub) and beta (normal) but omegaverse included mpreg, as for BDSM its a genre in which the BDSM involved, so if the domsubverse also has BDSM as a genre that means the domsubverse involves the BDSM in the story
Kuze change your fucking settings lol
I know what domsubverse is. I have an ongoing list of all the ones I've read and remembered to put on there.
When I was referring to the other series with a dom and sub it wasn't a domsubverse series. It was just a regular young man who was a queen and one of the customers/viewers that fell in love with how beautiful he looked while performing.
The general rules for something to be considered domsubverse is the dom, sub and switch are secondary sexes or natures. There are those who are "normal" outside of verses and do not suffer the mental and physical backlash those that do have a secondary do. The typical setting is top dom x bottom sub. There is an accessory-- "collar"-- system that is used when mutual trust is gained between partners that want to show that they belong to one another. Sometimes, depending on the writer's discretion, pheromones come into play, but it isn't a core rule to be considered a domsubverse story. The main thing that matters is the secondary sex that lies outside of the primary, safe words, commands/plays and the collar system.
The part where BDSM comes into play with domsubverse are the commands/plays. Irl they are more commonly called "scenes" but you can use play interchangeably. BDSM is heavily centered around mutual trust between consenting parties, establishing boundaries, a safe word and catering to one another's needs and wants. It isn't just hitting one another or humiliating your partner. Some people might like that, but that isn't the same for everyone.
Which is why it annoys me that people are trying to say this isn't a domsubverse work when it establishes the core rules and setting needed for it to be one. They even have suppressants to help curb the impulses brought on by involuntary secondary impulses.
Claiming to drop uploading a series 'cause "the rating is low so obviously people don't like it" when in reality it's most likely the chapter format or your ugly attitude towards readers and mangaka alike.
╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
The only people "complaining" are on troll accounts for an illegal manga pirating site or puritans who can't handle anything a touch more spicy than milquetoast hand-holding between chaste virgins.
Or Kuze. This mfer is rarely ever satisfied with this genre which makes you wonder why they even read it to begin with lol
I wouldn't even point it out if it wasn't for the fact that I hardly ever see Kuze enjoy anything they read.
Even this title that they uploaded themselves they were immediately like "idek I thought this one was good but now I regret it 'cause it might actually be trash"-- which is something you read from them 90% of the time. And it's not even anything constructive, it's always something like "this artist/author should just quit their job and never make anything ever again" which rubs me the wrong way as someone with a partner that does freelance illustrations as a career and I myself do art albeit not as often.
It's petty.
I am immune to the scrawny kpop boys.
We love our short king, Taka in this house.
JHDEBCEDIHCBEIFHBVEIHBFV
I just love Taka lol I love that the older, more experienced one is shorter than his younger counterpart and treats him like a princess. Like, he actively gives Hina the love and attention he's always craved and in the way he wants it.
I've enjoyed watching their relationship take form and grow since chapter 1 dropped lol
A professional hater.
Get a life, lil bro lol
Anyways, this seems to be an amateur fan translation so I don't think the names for things are an accurate 1:1 translation.
It's not that his grandpa is a "great hole" but that he has power related to it lol
Anyways, I'm kinda excited to see how sad it gets seeing as we already know that his grandpa dies and the angel gives up his wings to live with him till the end.

Ya'll shitting on Tomoe when he was the one taken advantage of when he's tried to walk away from his ex. It wasn't his fault that the mfer showed up at his place during his heat cycle KNOWING he couldn't resist the man he was still in love with.
Not to mention they obviously did it unprotected ((which is on the alpha imo since Tomoe was planning to spend his heat alone and isolated)) which led to Tomoe becoming pregnant, miscarrying and now unable to ever have a kid with someone who ACTUALLY loves and cares for him.
He's lucky that Aoi isn't a typical alpha and doesn't believe in the whole "spread the alpha gene no matter what" bs. Yeah, he's probably gonna be a lil sad 'cause he did dream about doing family stuff with the person he chooses to love and bond with, but if Tomoe is worth it to him to give that up then more power to him.
I think Tomoe deserves another chance with someone who isn't just gonna buckle to societal pressures and abandon him.
Ya'll are just a bunch of chastity perverts lol
We've seen countless times how easy it is to manipulate and rob omegas of their own free will via pheromone abuse from alphas. Yeah, he shoulda ran when he could, but Tomoe was convinced it was true love and was already suffering from low self-esteem due to basically being an "out of season" omega.
Idek I just think ya'll are being prejudice as hell lol
I completely agree
I think people are more concerned about the cheating aspect than the fact that Tomoe is practically raped and molested by a man who can't make a single grown-up decision for himself and abuses his power as an alpha.
Aoi is more of an adult and he's barely in his 20s lol
That, and the wife already knew about them and tbh till I actually see the discussion she has with her husband about not bonding with Tomoe I'm gonna have faith that she's doing it out of safety and concern for Tomoe. I don't wanna believe she's vindictive towards another omega who has had any chance of a future robbed from them by an alpha who can't get his shit together.
spitting facts
"Chastity perverts" is so on the nose. You're preaching truths here.
I see it so often in comments and it makes me sick for personal reasons.
"I don't like that the uke used to sleep around" "I really wish the seme wasn't such a manwhore" "I don't understand why the uke had to be such a slut" "I really wish they had stayed virgins"
Then in this scenario we have a subgenre, omegaverse, that is known for drastic power imbalance between the secondary genders and people are mad at the character who tried to make a break but ended up being taken advantage of by someone who has physical power over him.
They're judging Tomoe just as badly as the bigoted characters in the story. And I get that he wasn't necessarily perfect, but it takes two to cheat and at least he wants nothing to do with his ex anymore and is doing his best to move on.
