Fr tho this series is so good. The psychological aspects of it. The murder-mystery. I could feel nothing but pain for Hee-seo and everything he has been through since he was basically born.
Honestly, I do feel kinda bad for Taekyung, but my need to see Hee-seo heal from everything or at least get justice for the shit life he and his mom had live far outweighs my concern for Taekyung atp. Like, he had the evidence to put the murderer away regardless of whether or not she has cancer. It's so fucked when you think about the fact that she's been monitoring his every move AND she could have potentially put Hee-seo in danger since she confirmed he was rescued from the fire and Taekyung folded like a wet paper napkin and made Hee-seo's life far worse than before.
The only reason why she didn't splatter Hee-seo's guts with her car and only bumped him is 'cause she knew almost every step of the way that once Taekyung found out she had stage 3 he wouldn't be able to put her away.
Tbh, I think Hee-seo should do whatever he needs to to feel better. He's dealt with nothing but abuse, and the one person who said would never abandon him did.
What's even sadder is that once Hee-seo realized it was Taekyung's foster mom who killed his mom and even tried to kill him he knew that Taekyung would choose to protect her over him.

I'm just saying that with how much Taehyun and his foster mother have ruined Heeseo's life I cam forgive the abuse that's comin'. He knew Heeseo suffered from immense trauma and years of abuse to the point that he frequently had suicidal ideations and often harmed himself or others during his episodes. He's lucky Heeseo didn't turn into a school shooter or a terrorist bomber after he literally broke his mind.
Taehyun wanted to keep his disgusting, manipulative foster mother alive and ultimately chose her over Heeseo despite his promise to him. Physical trauma is the least he could put up with outta the poor guy.

Finally someone with brain knows what's going on in this story and enjoying how crazily author come up with good manhwa in full of porn world , Cha is to blame he felt guilty and thrust his guilt upon heeseo even though he told him to leave him alone never wanted him to be saved boy just wanted sweet love and happy time and steady therapy not revenge when he saw Cha he forgot about his revenge for his mother but yet sudden backward step of cha is one of most biggest mistake that lead boy to wrong path. I m so excited for new season which is coming next week

I don't know. I get that it's trying to be "realistic", but something about it rubs me the wrong way. It tries to talk about deep, complicated subjects only to walk them back and make lil to no sense in the end. It's very one dimensional and just overall kinda misinformed.
I don't mind my series having darker/heavier themes, but this just feels like it's supposed to be more uhhhhhhh-- informational?? Idfk I just don't think it belongs in the yaoi section lol

i did actually read it all the way through before and while i agree this chick was on the annoying side and author didn't always convey things the best; i ended up enjoying this highly questionable manga. i got invested in a side characters story that apparently has a more fleshed out extra in the novel but i've been too scared to read it since it was too messed up. also, just because i've seen a lot of people misunderstand this manga's author & i'm not sure based on your tone if you're on the same track, but the author is actually a gay man in japan and has said he wrote this based off some things in his own life. so maybe in this mans life this was more realistic for him personally??? (though for sure embellished for fujo manga.)
also, been a good bit since I read so idk if it felt 'informational' to me per se. BUT MAN IF I CAN'T HOPE IT WASN'T WITH THAT LITERAL PEDO MC WAS WITH. and delulu fujoshi.
I think my biggest gripe is that whoever reuploaded it tagged it with yaoi. It's like when people kept tagging that one mangaka's work "My Lesbian Experience with Loneliness" as yuri when it was meant to be a retelling of her actual life and her mental struggles.

Kojima finally getting closure and learning that it wasn't actually his fault that everything got so fucked up when he was child is doing numbers on me. His family is fucked. His dad wasn't a creepy, murderous pedophile; he was a man grieving the loss and theft of his son.
It's still traumatizing that Kojima had to see him die like that, but I think with Daimon there to put those memories in a more correct perspective he's going to be able to remember his father in a more positive light.
