I love the depth of this series. The war, the social classes, the cherished memories and the brutal ones, the struggle between love and tradition and inner turmoil. Every character shines so brightly. It really tugs on the heartstrings. Taki and Klaus are both so beautiful in their desperate struggles. My heart is still pounding.
I'm blessed to see the continuation of this series and in all its glory.

I think it's mostly just this kid being curious about his sexuality. He's grown up in a place that sells that kind of service and he just wanted to know what it was like. I don't think he wanted to sell himself and the line at the end from the older man walking away was more of a metaphor than a literal statement. It was probably something more along the lines of "I feel like this kid has me wrapped around his finger now" than "I'm going to buy sex from this kid."
There was also a part where the older man pointed out that living in a rural area such as that was difficult for younger generations 'cause it was almost impossible for them to be a part of the modern era. That and in a lot of rural areas homosexuality is literally the worst thing ever and I think that's why the kid jumped at the opportunity to have sex with the older man. He was from Tokyo, which is a city that is a little more lax with what people do with their private lives, and so the kid wouldn't have to worry about being judged harshly.
Or at least this is what I gleaned from it. (●￣(ｴ)￣●)

I read it here but also read the spanish version that is a bit ahead. I won't spoil but... this manga is such a wild rollercoaster that you will never stop craving for next chapter xD
Hizuki-sen is the reincarnation of Akatsuki-sama who seemed to be worshiped as a land deity. From what I can tell he hasn't always lived in that town till he was hired on as a sub. Returning back to the land he was born in caused his powers to awaken. I'm guessing Hizuki-sen has the ability to channel spirits and the such and it activates either after he has sexual intercourse or after he has passed out. Part of his powers is the ability to seduce spirits and men.
Magaki seems to have a certain level of immunity to this seeing as even tho Hizuki-sen was in "Red-Eye" mode he was able to resist sleeping with him--or I could be wrong and he's actually part of how Hizuki-sen's powers work.
Most of this will be cleared up in the final chapters tho.

Bruh, I've sadly been running the boy shipping since I was 9. At this point convoluted plots are my forte. I'm just ready for the next chapter already so I can see this wrapped up. It's actually a good read once you understand what is going on. x'D

I know right. I love how the mystery is not fully solved and how the stories are connected to the mystery. This reminds me of the longest running yaoi manga that's still ongoing, called 'Yami no Kodou', in my opinion is one of the best masterpiece I've read so far.
