And their ilk should lose their jobs over shit like this I'm the bad guy.
It's like when they change oppa/hyun/gege/aniki and others to something like sir or "best friend" just 'cause they think people who don't speak the original language are too dumb to understand what those mean.
It's so rude pulls me straight out of what I'm reading. It takes 2 fucking seconds to Google what honorifics and nicknames are.

Airing themselves out as loveless purity perverts.
Why am I not shocked lol
Doha and Minjeong don't even have any similarities aside from their hair being different shades of pink. Their personalities are almost complete opposites aside from they are both nice to Jihwan at some point or another. Other than that they have nothing else in common.
It's hilarious how I get called a freak on here for not giving a fuck, but there's people on here that are more concerned over whether a fictional character has ever had sex or loved someone before meeting their ML than their own personal lives. Like, ya'll are so fucking weird.
Why should it matter if Jihwan had a crush on someone before or has a type? We saw Doha date, use hook-up apps and use sex services before, but I don't see ya'll breathing a single word about that. You don't even make any fucking sense lol

Like, I'm just happy they both found each other and can be happy together. I'm glad they both found someone they can rely on who loves and supports them.
Meanwhile, ya'll are too busy wasting time on this planet bitching and casting stones in glass houses.
This ain't even a replacement story like ya'll keep claiming it to be. He just likes people with pink hair like how I like people with dark hair. Ya'll sound like incels when a chick rejects them and says they just wanna be friends; jaded and full of malicious insults.

I only wish people had a single iota of literacy these days lol
Like, I get that their hair is similar, big whoop. That's literally where their resemblance ends. And it was implied that Jihwan knew she had a crush on his brother, he just found her interesting 'cause out of all the people that came to or lived in that house she was the only one worth paying attention to. It's not like he was thinking about starting a family with her. He was pissed and beat the brakes off his brother 'cause he knew what her feelings were and he couldn't stand seeing a decent human being being used and abused by his psycho brother.
People are just wasting resources these days.

Just in case I'm gonna put a spoiler warning.
The extras feels super nonsensical despite the fact that they keep driving home the fact that Leonid never fails to deliver on his hits so Lee-Won is very much close to dying. That being said, I know something'll happen to prevent him from meeting that end.
I just feel kinda disappointed that instead of just a simple epilogue ((like most extras)) we're getting something that feels very directionless. If it were chopped up into different events, like say we make one group of extras about Lee-Won coming out of the closet and another set about Dimitry putting a hit on Lee-Won it'd feel a lot more coherent.
I guess the point is for all of these events to take place at once to instill a feeling of "the chaotic life of a man dating the Russian mafia", but all it's doing is irritating me. And we still haven't even really heard these two talk about their feelings other than kinky gunplay and Caesar cutting his own throat open to keep Lee-Won from leaving. Like, I can't even recall if these two have even admitted outloud that they love each other, and if the intention was to have them finally say it in the extras all along I'm even more irritated. Extras aren't always guaranteed so something as vital as them finally saying "I love you" being left up to chance is just... idek how to describe the irritation I am feeling.
Especially since I loved the main story so much. It was good, and even tho there were a few things unresolved ((like why tf Caesar still keeps Dimitry around when they know he's actively tried to kill Lee-Won multiple times or has threatened him)) it ended on a pretty satisfying note aside from the lack of a verbal confession.
Idek. It's 3 am and I'm irritated that it's devolved so much during the extras.

I mean, I get why it feels like that and it's mostly due to the fact that Caesar had an unconventional upbringing and therefore doesn't really know how to act in a normie way. And honestly, that gunplay scene from the battle royale section and Caesar slicing his throat actually helped me feel more like "oh yeah, they were meant for one another" than anything else that has happened so far in the extras.
I just feel like the artist has no one helping them direct this part of the series. Like, the person that helped them adapt the main story isn't involved or even a producer. They are basically just drawing whatever idea popped into their head at the time. It's kind of irritating as someone who actually enjoyed the main story contents.

Will be able to eventually curse people to death.
Like, slow and methodically like he did the initial bastard at the orphanage where he did it unknowingly over a period of time.
I feel like that'd be the best way to off Cesare in this case since being in the same vicinity as him allows him the ability to manipulate his feelings. Like a damage over time effect that won't let up till you either apply the correct curative or you're dead regardless of whether you are near the source of the curse or not ((like poison damage in Pokémon)).
Also, I would be terrified of doing all this shit to a literal God of death knowing the moment your powers let up and Taejoo knows the truth your ass is fucking grass. He can even make it seem like an accident or natural cause and no one would be none the wiser. Like, fuck being impotent your life is forfeit. Cesare is truly the dumbest villain in existence that isn't a complete gag character for laughs.

Also, people saying Jung-hoo needs to leave Taejoo are wrong. The reason why Cesare was able to take all his past partners was partly due to the fact that he cut them off once he found out. Yeah, a bigger part is that they didn't have the power to resist as much as Taejoo has, but if he had stuck around them a while longer he might have realized there's something more to Cesare than just being your average manwhore.
That and I honestly think if Jung-hoo left him that Taejoo would kill himself. He's already been through so much abuse before any of this ever happened and I think he's 110% serious about wanting to die whenever he's being manipulated by Cesare. He needs someone to stand beside him as someone who has never had anyone he could trust before. He's so close to realizing that Cesare is controlling him somehow, if Jung-hoo left he'd probably go ballistic and kill the people who have harmed him and then himself. Taejoo has always been standing right on the edge of giving everything up. Jung-hoo is the first person to ever make him consider taking a step back from that edge.

**mangago deleted my comment??? So I'm having to type this up from memory the best I can lol**
And I don't agree with the people who say Jung-hoo should just leave Taejoo. Given his history of being abused, I believe he was 110% serious when he said he wanted to die when he was being assaulted by Cesare.
That and I feel like part of the reason why Jung-hoo's past partners were taken was due to the fact he gave up so easily. Yeah, a MAJOR part of it was due to them not having the same powers or being as powerful as Taejoo, but I think him telling Taejoo that he'll stay with him regardless is what's giving Taejoo that extra boost he needs to resist Cesare. That and they are so close to figuring it all out.
Another thing is that Taejoo needs someone to be there for him. To believe him when he speaks the truth. He's already been through so much. He's a person who has lived his whole life standing on the edge of giving everything up. Jung-hoo is the first person to ever make him take a step back from that ledge. If Taejoo lost him I'm confident that he'd go completely ballistic, killing all those who harmed him and then himself.

I mean, I don't know the extent of his powers even if he was fully in control of them lol there could be an arbitrary in-world rule to their powers that makes it difficult to mess with another god's abilities. The only reason why the time god was able to act that one is 'cause he used his powers on the surrounding area and not directly on weather boy's powers.
But I do like the idea of any time Cesare tries to get sexual with someone or something along those lines he's dealt damage. Killing him right off would be a shame. Make him think he's safe till he tries to do something and suddenly he's bleeding from every orifice. Maybe even drop something on him to make him permanently paralyzed. Reduce him to a vegetable forced to watch the world pass him by and everyone forgets about him.
Whatever makes Taejoo and Jung-hoo happy, tho. I'm just tired of people trying to pin the blame on Taejoo's lack of ability to push back the manipulation when he's literally being raped and thinking about killing himself each time he loses control of his own will.
Like, it's rare that a series has me shaking like this. The last time was Serene Bird by BWT when the MC kept getting kidnapped, raped and drugged by the ML's deranged brother-- and noncon usually doesn't faze me that much if I'm being honest.

I was just thinking in more tactical terms since getting close to Cesare is proving to be too much danger for Taejoo. It'd be easier to do something like damage over time to where he not only suffers but eventually will die a painful death.
I just want Taejoo to be happy, and this entire conflict has been giving me such bad flashbacks to Serene Bird I've been shaking after finishing each update. It takes a lot to rattle me, but this shit got me so mad and fearful for Taejoo. It doesn't help that there are also people in the comments insisting that they just break-up or that Taejoo is just letting this all happen so I'm like infinitely more pissed lol

i get you! btw i remember somebody saying that this Cesare part is handled way better in the og novel and Taejoo is more of a badass in the novel. Novel doesn't have an english translation yet, but I've heard that it's better than the manhwa adaptation. so i wanna check it out someday...also from what i've heard things will be annoying for a long while from this point on (though it will get better later on apparently)

If that's true then I'll probably let this one marinate. I don't think my mental health can take seeing any more of this happening lol
I had to do the same for Serene Bird each time the MC was kidnapped by the ML's psychotic brother. I had to wait months before I could even touch it.
Thanks for the heads up. I appreciate it lol

But where tf was he when the mother of his child straight up died on the street?
Like, were they already separated atp? And if so, why? Was it due to Yui's mother knowing that he's a selfish PoS? This is the second time that we know of and have seen of him putting his job before his daughter. He's actively putting his dream before his own child and disguising it as "trying to provide a better life" for her.
Like, I get wanting to provide a better future for your child, but you don't get to literally run off on her, not even showing up to the funeral when Yui would have needed him most, then randomly show up saying you're gonna take her away from the people who have been shedding blood, sweat and tears to care for her.
Torano literally quit his job, started his own business and used his connections to help him with Yui while doing so. I can't imagine it was perfect the entire time, but the difference is that Torano put her first before anything else. He's changed his life so that she could grow up happy and healthy to the best of his ability.
It just blows my mind how stupidly selfish her dad is.
It reminds me of that one line from Guardians of the Galaxy, "he may be your father, but he ain't ya daddy." He may be Yui's biological father, but he's not her dad in the slightest. He's a sperm donor at best.

But I am a lil confused as to why it took them till s2 to actually draw out the sex scenes instead of just cutting to the next day.
It's either that or the English version cut it out for some reason seeing as at the end of the chapter where Eyra has that dream about fucking dragon Yanu there's a cut from the OG translation that shows a lot more of that dream.
It just feels weird 'cause usually the first sex scene is supposed to have some sort of weight to it ((whether positively or negatively)) but after going through an entire season of them fucking around and never seeing it, finally getting one in s2 made it fall flat for me. I was just like "oh ok, so we will eventually get to see them bang" and that was it.

I think it's mostly a censorship thing. It's heavily, *heavily* implied that they are having sex quite frequently, it's just the scenes are cut out for some reason.
And if you look at the end of the chapter where Eyra has the kinky dragon sex dream there's clearly more to the scene that was just cut out for the English version. It's just really confusing and slightly irritating.
Also, shounen-ai doesn't necessarily mean no sex scenes. There are plenty of shounen-ai that have very graphic sex scenes in them. It just means it's a lil more story driven/romance oriented than standard bl, and even then that definition isn't entirely correct, either. It's just arbitrary definitions western fans came up with as bl became more popular over here in the early 2000's without knowing what the true definitions were.
Let's have Chaon leave the one man, albeit psychotic as he is, that can protect him only to get kidnapped by the rival gang to get brutally raped.
Do you guys actually think with your brains or are they there just to take up the empty space??
I'm p sure Joonhwan or whatever tf scarface's name is is the mole and the reason why he's trying to separate them is 'cause Chaon got in the way of them being able to kill Sehan as a kid. He's using his "concern" for Sehan as a bluff so no one could tell he's the only leaking all the info to white-haired guy. It makes 0 sense for Sehan's dad to be the contact white-hair was referring to ((saw someone 110% suggest this)) since the rival gang wants to get rid of Sehan. It would be a hard af stretch for them to use Chaon as a trade-off for Sehan's life when the kid means nothing other than a piece of ass to them when Sehan is the one fucking all their business up. If Chaon is Sehan's weakness it'd be better to send him overseas where he can't be touched than to send him to the rival gang where you can be assured Sehan would follow. There's also the promise Sehan's dad made to Chaon's dad that he's upheld this whole time; why would he go back on it now?
Ending the rant with this; I get ya'll hate Sehan 'cause rape and blah blah blah, but who tf else is crazy enough to kill someone to protect him? Who in this whole series has had the balls to do what needed to be done to keep Chaon from getting killed? His initial fuckbuddy folded faster than a wet paper towel and even assaulted him while he was passed out. His coworkers and even fellow college students have also only seen him as a sex toy and even talk foul behind his back.
Sehan may be crazy and can't control himself, but at least I trust him more than anyone else to keep him from getting kidnapped and raped/gangraped.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I gotta go read something lighthearted 'cause I got reminded of Serene Bird and now I'm scared for Chaon 'cause I just know he's gonna get kidnapped and repeatedly raped by the rival gang's leader or whatever tf he is.
My brain cannot handle this rn.
is this a spoiler and i swear i remember chatting with you
Naw I know zilch about the raws or potential novel this is based off of lol
I just read a LOT of bl so I kinda got this 6th sense when it comes to future events. That and I'm still traumatized by Serene Bird and what it did to me lol
