I saw you guys post "OHEMGEE THIS IS RAPE!!"
I would be rich. Ohboy and don't get me started on
how many times I've had to point out that 99.9%
of your cute little "love stories" start off with rape.
If you don't like the trope then quit. In a genre where
90% of the time one side is gonna say "no" due to
the fact that HOMOSEXUALITY IS NOT HAPPILY LOOKED
UPON in most of these stories. You guys just don't
understand. But I'm also going to say this that there
is a good percentage where both parties are already in
just one of them doesn't want to admit it due to it
possibly damaging their masculinity. Speaking from personal
experience but it's not easy coming to grips with the fact
that you like someone of the same gender. It makes you
feel alienated and unwanted. It makes you feel like you are
doing something wrong. I'll leave it at this; at least some
of them end happily. Not everyone is going to say "YES
PLEASE FUCK ME SILLY I LOVE YOU" within the first chapter.
That's too easy. In this case we can clearly see that Naru
has a thing for Tora but due to his complexes on his
height and the fact that Tora is younger than him but
taller and manlier in a sense it's going to take some time
to get him to admit his feelings. Just-- please stop slapping
the rape tag on everything. This is someone's creation--
their child. You wouldn't like the same thing being said
about what you created, don't do it to others. You
don't know how the creator was feeling while they came
up with this story and the story they wanted to convey
to their readers. You guys disappoint me. //sighs

I can't just "chill." I'm not really the one that needs to "chill."
As one content creator of sorts I know how it feels for things
to be said about my works that were not made with that
intention. And as someone who was actually raped I find it
offensive when people sling around that term so loosely without
knowing the true pain of it. Please take these things into
consideration the next time you tell someone to "chill." Sex
is "uncomfortable" for everyone-- even if they appear to be
"loose." But that doesn't necessarily mean you should slap
"rape" into the equation. If that were true then everyone has
been "raped" and that is offensive to those who are actual
victims.

@lostikins, wow care to join the modern world??? The whole "no means yes" thing....nobody buys that shit anymore.

sorry but this is the dumbest argument i have ever heard.
also no one said that the manga is bad just because of the rape.
and sex is clearly NOT uncomfortable for everyone and if you think so you should honestly seek help because there is obviously something wrong with your sex life + you being raped has absolutely nothing to do with this and i think it's rather offensive saying this isnt rape to actual rape victims than to deny it because I dont see how pointing out rape would trigger rape victims.
I really don't think Shinobu thinks of his brother that way.
His brother has just been his literal world for so long that
he could never think of being apart from him. Aaaand I'm
guessing dear old onii-chan spoiled the shit out of him till
this time. NOW. THE NEPHEW on the other hand has clearly
been holding onto these feelings for Shinobu for a long a
while now. Being the teenager that he is, he's become
something of a playboy to keep his raging desires in check
ALL WHILE CARRYING A TORCH FOR THE OBLIVIOUSLY
ADORABLE SHINOBU. preciousangel. -cough cough- Anyways.
It's mostly just one big jumbled up mess of teaching Shino
what type of love he holds for his brother and the type of
love Kazu holds for him. It's obviously two different types
seeing as Shinobu, a 25-year old who has to have at least
known what the act of sex is since he knows when him and
Kazu are doing it that that's what is going down, never even
thought about doing those types of things with his brother.
Not to mention that there is no ill-will towards the absentee
wife when normally there's jealousy or at least anger in
most cases like these. And from what I can dig is that Shino
was trying to tell Kazu that he was wrong about how he felt
about his older brother-- that his love wasn't a sexual, intimate
type of love but more of a pure one--guess kinda like
"ohemgee you're my whole world/savior" type of deal. I mean
c'mon, they were the only ones they had for each other for
a while. It happens. But that doesn't always lead to romantic
feelings. Shino and Kazu are both just so emotionally inept
at the moment that they're butting heads more than
solving these things together. Though I do feel like Kazu
has a bit more of a grasp on things than Shino does.
agree!
