is bound to be some rapey scenes/stories. It just happens. At least this

Maybe I too naive because im new in yaoi but can people get horny but not rape anybody with or without pheromones, aphrodisiacs or wharever. I know rape as sexual fantasy is there im not judging, but it doesnt fit in all stories. I dont like it personally, it kill my mood, besides here nothing has sense.
If I got your point right, then my answer is simply avoid reading most of yaoi stories if rape is not your thing. Shounen-ai is directed romantically if that's what you've been looking for, if you want some sort of decent sex scenes, then I recommend looking through tags/comments before reading, as it decreases the chance you'd get surprised by some not so enjoyable scene.

Recently Ive learn to read the tags since i read a harada story. But sometimes although there is no sex (shounen ai i assume) in these stories is very common plots about child abbuse or rape (seriously taken) which is fine(I love saezuru tori wa habatakanai) but i always fearing if this topic will show up in almost everything i read. Maybe im exaggerating.
Nevertheless, I will take risks because i think this genre portrait a lot of interesting stories.
