it's the chasing arc trope but ML's fault here is being an idiot lmao. him and his idiot bestfriend being flabbergasted everytime they learn about normal couple behavior is very funny. it's refreshing to have a ML you can really root for instead of all those abusing, barely redempted assholes you see in many orher works that leave you with a icky feeling at the end of the chasing arc. also MC is adorable and really driven, love her
if bada can remember the previous runs since doha told him about the game , doesn't it mean that he already found his tape?? i thought it was the only way to stop being a npc in the game.. is doha hiding the tape and lying to him about needing to find it, or did bada regained conciousness by another mean i didn't catch
Different tapes have diff memories iirc. Bada’s using a new tape rn which is why he’s a ‘player’. But they still need his original tape. Same with how when seongchan hid Doha’s original tape to turn him into an NPC but then he became a ‘player’again when he took over seongchan’s tape accidentally

tbh i don't about top/bottom dynamics, everything can be great as long as it's well written. but this is just another cliché story with a manipulative ML and naive MC.. MC may be the top but he stays the young character taken advantage of. as always, there's this abusive power dynamic that BL love.
and i'm not against toxic BL IF they're well written, but this one doesn't seem that good. MC agreeing with everything because it's ''the north's culture'' like be fr. this is just a lazy way to write gaslighting.
i absolutely loved Define the Relationship by the same artist so i'll give it a chance but... it doesn't look very promising
