they've been building up the main antagonist as some big bad guy supposedly extra smart but... compared to MC he's meh.
i mean MC had to die and come back to see through his plans.. but still, MC was always a strategist, how could that guy act surprised he retaliated. he was so sure MC would stay loyal to him that he didn't kill him after betraying him. too arrogant to think that the man he framed and exiled wouldn't turn against him.

i bet her apology will be putting the fault on kael and trying to humiliate hestia at the same time. like a ''i'm sorry you fell in love with me and choose the first random woman who came your way when you couldn't have me''.
honestly idc that she wasn't educated before her mariage, she had 2 years to learn how to act and never gave a shit. if she wasn't so greedy for social-recognition, she would've been fine learning alongside helios and raising her social-influence but instead she choose to do some sneaky business on her own. she complains no one was backing her up when she had powerfull allies but was just too pridefull to accept she was ignorant.
''googoogaga but i did all of this because everyone said i wasn't qualified'' but you weren't qualified sweety. instead of accepting it as the truth she took as an insult to her ego and ignored all advices.. she's so pridefull, and for what. she wanted to get rid of her ''commoner'' status so bad when she was already the saint and the crown-princess. loved but the prince and the king, the people and the temple but couldn't handle the noble's critics. just like she still wants kael to love her, she can't handle not being everyone's favorite person.

her been like ''maybe i'm seen things from a HIGHER perspective'' is making it clear she thinks she's above it all. it's not higher, it's just different...
also her superiority complex is making her so insensitive... the fact that she can ''save the day'' everytime makes it impossible for her to face the consequences of her actions.
honestly didn't think she would've become this twisted but maybe it's just the direct result of not being able to save jaeil and nobody believing her, forcing her to keep the secret and acting alone.

i loved this plot twist! Okaya has been portrayed as the main antagonist, a cruel ''mastermind'', just for Ajiki to be like ''eh, he's just a delulu psycho, i'm a real crime boss, i'm tired of his shit''. what's an insane rich highschooler who puts all his efforts into bullying 1 poor guy, compared to the acting heir of a yakuza family who's just bored.
rip fun thick-lined art style, you will be missed
