this really have a storytelling problem.. i feel like it takes its characters action's at face value, there is no nuance at all.
Helliane needs to be obsessed with Helga, okay she will act totally crazy and become the villain.
The Crown Prince needs to go to war (to prove himself i guess??), okay he will not ascend the throne before and create political instability.
Helga needs to regain her prestige, okay she'll just destroy her family without empathy.
please, make them a little bit more human.. as the story goes on, they are becoming more and more like clichés of themselves.
they juste feel like tools to advance the story now

so a cassette is a check point, and the one who put it in remembers the next round. so does the cassette with END written on it belongs to Nam Doho? if so, how long has it been since he put it in the and has been hiding the it? will he not remember the next game now that Pi Bada took it out?
alors, does Pi Bada have a cassette too??
i think i need to re-read it, i just feel more confused when they explain things now TT

i really think the story is kinda pointless now because how is she ever going to forget / forgive for lying to her for so long.
okay he has a traumatizing past, he's repenting, great. but how could they ever go back together?
the fact that he pretended to be in love with her just can't be erased. it would feel so unrealistic to me that she starts to trust him enough to get back.

I think he did love her when they were teenager but resented the love he had for her and later that turned into this whole mess of emotional abuse that she suffered I'm not the being the that person who is clarifying in favor of some asshole by saying this thing but I felt his love for her while reading but he still didn't have the right to make her the tool for his resentful past
They could have been each other salvation but he ruined that chance

yeah for sure, i do think his story does explain his behavior!
but at the same time i don't see how, even if she's made aware of his past and how he came to act like that, she could move past the betrayal.
i know that it will probably be what happens in the end cause it is a romance story, but i feel like the author kinda failed at making the reader feel like their relationship could be repaired.

the art is nice, the story is interesting but the MC... it could be that she's traumatized by her death so she acts so selfishly but idk. i just don't get why she's not focusing on her family. why didn't she try to marry her sister to a neutral fraction and remove her parents as much as possible from the power struggle, when she knows there will be a purge in a few years. like girl, at least try to make sure they're safe? she only thinks about her own survival fr

we can kinda guess what went wrong between MC and blue hair guy due to some flashback and their attitudes but i hope it was really bad. i don't wish suffering upon the MC but i hate when stories introduce the ex boyfriend as an asshole, build up his character around that just to then show the past and it was just a miscommunication/ego problem... not saying it can't ruin relationship but MC's attitude toward blue hair guy can't just be because of that.. i kinda want him to be a real asshole

''i thought she'd be completely worn out by now, that she'd give in and go back''
he really didn't learn anything.. all these chapters about his backstory to see him at the same point. he's still projecting what he think she'm should be on her, not noticing she's changed. it's not as if i don't get he's traumatized, heartbroken and somewhat still in denial about his feelings, but his lack of development and self awareness is getting tiring
they're all annoying honestly
it is pretty realistic tho that sometimes you just get overwelmed with feelings and act the wrong way
like Heide should've known not to defy the king and Michael should've pushed him away more firmly as he usually does but well
guess the story has to move on so they're all suddently acting irrationally
no excuse for the king tho he's a pos
