it feels like his fear of abandonment is the main motivation behind his decision to end it with the MLs. he'd rather leave them both instead of ''drifting from one to another''. the problem isn't even that they hurt him, it's that because he can't make a choice between them, he doesn't feel like he belongs anywhere.
