does lisette want him to regain his memories or not??? i thought she was in the conspiract to have him amnesic and enslaved..

I think Lysbet is keeping up appearances to seem like she's looking out for Sylhan's best interests, it also seems to me like she carries guilt for something she and her brother and their relative the Khallak chancellor or whoever she is may have committed against Sylhan that led to his father's death and Sylhan's memory loss/madness and where he thinks he killed his own father (I suspect he actually didn't or there may be some sort of twist where it wasn't his fault at all). They probably wanted to usurp Sylhan's position, Lister's behaviour of always wanting Sylhan's obedience hints at this like he couldn't wait to get a higher status than Sylhan so he could order him around as a higher ranking noble.

yeah i thought so too, it's all a conspiracy to usurp MC's position and they're all in on it.
but it seemed like the the ''medication'' sylhan was talking was actually causing his memory issues/seizures and that's why ML and the new doctor changed it. so i thought Lysbet would've wanted to keep him medicated, but in this chapter she seems to want him to actually regain his memories?? is she trying to reverse the damage cause she feels guilty? or is she lying and is actually happy with the new doctor saying that with the new medication MC's memories could take longer to return?
they're all so sketchy idk anymore!!

She's trying to keep up appearances that she's trying to help MC! But she doesn't actually want him to get better, which is why she was fine with the old medication that suppressed everything. The new medication supposedly suppresses the memories but helps the mania, which would be more beneficial to Lysbet, but if she quickly agreed, others could get suspicious of her actions. This is why she asks for MC's opinion, to "place" the decision on MC so she doesn't have to take responsibility directly. While she may feel guilty, she is 100% on her family’s side, so she is ensuring that MC doesn't regain his memories at all. But the sorcerer is helping MC and he's covering for the sorcerer to gain back his memories, and the headaches are most likely related to that.

i just can't take this seriously... why did she have to be named ''crochetta"
in french "crochet'' means "a hook" so it feels like they just feminized the word to make a villainess name. it's so bad, it feels like made up names kids invents when they play heros.
the other names are all french sounding and kinda normal (etienne, roger -a really old people's name btw-, margo), but ''crochetta'' is throwing me off everytime

it's frightening how easy it was for the church to incriminate them.. by charges alone, they'd never be able to do anything, they don't have proof, just a moral accusation of an ''incestuous relationship''. but simply by doing theater plays in the streets they're able to demonize shuuri and shift the public opinion, it's so scary.
it's so frustrating cause they don't have shit on them but because it's the church, the accusation took. makes me think of the witch hunts.. crazy how easy it is to make demons out of innocent women.

girl, beat him up too!!!! from her point of view, he's just an annoying superior who's low-key obsessed with her, super controling and invasive. that's workspace bullying girl, stop taking his bullshit harassment and stab him idk
i know she can't really as he is her boss and could fail her but a girl can dream

right!!! it is funny that while he's having a crisis dealing with his feelings for her, she's just like "who's this creep that keeps getting in the way of my revenge''. but say it out loud girly!!
i'd love to see her tell him he's a nobody to her and for him loose his mind trying to be relevant in her eyes again without revealing his secret. and then seing him battle with how much he wants her to think of HIM and not his husband cover. a little self-jealousy / identity crisis arc hehe

so ML had more empathy for MC as a teen than he has now. he's actually treating him worse as an adult who had years to mature... didn't know people could regress in emotional intelligence, smh.
this flashback is nice but it really paints present-ML in a really bad light.

Still not making it good for his side though, 10 years and he's still make a bad decision when he met yw again. But what could i say, he's also protecting his family love onto yw as if yw is no different like "it's s easy to leave and started over", they really need to talk and seoin should knows that yw is not the same as his family
while waiting for the next season, i really recommend reading the book! i easily found it translated just by searching on google.
while the manhwa is pretty good, the book really is better. especially in this arc, the book does a really good job at keeping the tension and showing the powerplay between MC, the kidnappers and the military.
overall, i feel like the manhwa is going faster, which isn't bad but it sometimes lessen the impact of some really awesome scenes of the book.
Yes! I think so too!!!
