The novel illustrates her struggles better. Along with her determination and independent thinking, she barely scraps by in the ln. MC works and studies hard to survive and give them a better life, she's got no golden finger to help her and we really see how she racks for brain to solve problems to the best of her abilities. The targets don't and sometimes can't help her. It's really refreshing to read. This art makes it hard to take it seriously I think, but I'll stick around in hopes of some spoilers.
