Actually this is good writing. Yes, it's twisted and dark. Uses themes/elements like drug abuse, sexual explotation, human trafficking, sexual abuse, physical abuse, sexual assault, etc. But there's a very complex story behind all that. The characters are well constructed with personalities defined, ambitions and frustrations. The ML, has deep and has so many layers lof darkness inside of him. He's not just some bad abusive ganster dude. He's really a unreedemeable monster that never shows weakness and he's always prepared for any scenario. Monsters disguised as human being are intelligent and this one knows how to use his charms and speech to appeal to the MC. That's why MC said he won't confuse flames, moments when the monster shows 'feelings', with actual warmth. The ML's affections are like flames and MC is like a moth attracted to that light but that will lead him to his death.
And MC is losing his mind. He's completely alone. Abandoned or betrayed, he's just a toy for that man who never acts without thinking things first, never with good intentions and always wanting something back.

I do like it. I don't know if there's a novel but probably it would be very depressing.

I do like the story despite that (not so) sudden twist at the end of S01.

And MC actually recognizes what happened between them, the kidnapping and raping, and he looks depressed and dejected, but still wants to settle things with ML because he loves him and probably wants to know why he acted like that 'cause he doesn't believed him when he said he never felt anything for him, just wanted to hurt him (with the rape) and he was paid to kill him.

I need the happy times and the old art back.

I LOVE that everytime they have sex, it's Sihyun the one who has all the marks. I know it's because he can't leave marks on Joohwan's body, he still thinks Joohwan's in a relationship, but like... omg I just love how possessive Joohwan is, like with the cologne in this chapter when he casually transfer it from his wrist to Sihyun's neck, to leave all those marks on that pale body.

But I'm rocking my brain out wondering how did he leave those marks on his waist. Those look like if Yoohwan was grabbing him from behind. I thought that maybe Yoohwan was riding him and he used Sihyun's waist as support but... how did he leave that??

Also, I live for the day when the misunderstanding is cleared and Sihyun can leave all the marks and be possessive as much as he wants.

I hate this version of Grayson so much...even if that's a lie, how can you say all that with a straight face...? Twisted and disgusting indeed. I don't care much about him in this story.
In his novel, he starts the same but then Dane came along and Grayson becomes more tolerable and likeable almost to a joke.

And Bliss!!!! I was curious about his appearance and I want his story. He's supposed to be paired with an older beta, a professor. I hope he stays a beta and Bliss, being a dominant omega, doesn't convert him into an alpha. But that would probably happen. Bliss is a really complex mix of all members of his family.

Ml has an unique view about love and relationships. It's not for everyone but mc's really saying 'I can fix him' while whipping him up.

The romance is moving foward! Glad he apologized for kissing him like that and without his consent. Siwoo was feeling guilty from the look on his face and fear to go to school or escape but Byul definitely wanted something else from him!! Excited and confused but still, being true to his character, he waited no one to actually address the situation.

Dan panicking at every word Jaekyung said... Poor boy was having flashbacks. He's trying to hold back those feelings but they're still there, under his avoidant eyes and polite smile. Pretty sure he was waiting for that apology forever, never believing it would come because why would he apologize... If he believed he meant nothing for Jaekyung.

Jaekyung still has a lot to apologize for but he started with the ones he THINKS hurt Dan the most. And Dan was really shocked!!! And like Jaekyung said, they actually never have sat down face to face before and talked. They need more of that but with Dan actually expressing his feelings!!! And not downplaying them because of awkwardness. Both of them need to address those unspoken feelings.

I do believe when Jaekyung said that 'he didn't know he hurt him so much' because even if he was abandoned by his mother, abused by his father and being treated like a pariah and later in life he had parental figures and teammates, receiving some kind or care and protection, it's not the same as to know love from young age and actually cultivate and grow emotional intelligence. He only focused on himself and in that narrow view there's not time from anything else. It makes sense he was an asshole and it makes more sense that he doesn't know what to do or what to say to make Dan feel better. It makes sense he's doing grand gestures and apologizing, taking big steps to make things right but not actually listening to Dan or asking him important questions... Too afraid to hear what Dan has to said.

And even if I really want a confession, it would be so random because from Dan's pov, Jaekyung's only taking care of him because of the jinx and the match so Jaekyung confessing would lead to rejection. Jaekyung needs to show more affection and Dan, little by little, has to unburied his feelings for him...

But I kind of believe he said something like 'Stay with me, Kim Dam' or 'I need you. Kim Dan'. I want his confession to be more intimate, him feeling more vulnerable and with Dan actually listening and believing him.



Ah but please never address what he did to Dan in front of Heesung. Not that.

Jaekyung should have named that big teddy bear after himself so his feelings would be reciprocated. Card Captor Sakura taught me that xD
