I need y'all to tell me. The older guy likes the younger one right??? He’s being flirty sometimes and weird others, I know for some it is probably obvious that he does my my autistic ass is like [squints] I’m not sure......

Spoilers. Yes Dohyun (the ML) likes Wooyeon (MC) during this time. He started developing feelings after he went over to Wooyeon house for the first time and had that glass scene. However he doesn’t want to act on it for certain reasons that everyone will find out about. Also all his friends and Dohyun knows wooyoen likes him hehehe

The whole “I’ve been your fan the whole time” trope has always made me sad, but I had some hope this one wouldn’t do it... But in my heart of hearts, I knew it likely was going to lead down that route. And, well... Yeah. Idk. It’s still a good story so far, but it's honestly decently disappointing to me that the author wrote it like this. Not only is it a tired trope, it also taints the begining of their relationship in a different light, and it's not a good one. The therapist lied, blatantly and repeatedly. And while I can understand why, it’s still a lie that he carried on for weeks. Not only that, but the author had such a good opportunity to subvert the trope and have him be seriously clueless as to who he was, and not obsessed since he was a kid. It just cheapens their whole relationship, honestly. They have such good chemistry, and it would have been made even better if the author left that trope at the door.

Tbf, I think it’s more like “despite being your fan for basically forever I have and will always remain on your side, not because you’re an actor I love or how famous you are but because I’ve come to see you for the real you”. It’s really easy to show someone caring for another and defending them for who they are in their ordinary life if they have no clue who that person is but to truly see a celebrity that you have always adored beyond their title and your preconceived notion of them, while also simultaneously showing that you can love their art but still make a clear distinction between the art and the person, not treating the celebrity like a product or an object (which is unfortunately how most celebrities are often seen and treated by their fans) but instead treating them like a normal ordinary human, is something that is not often portrayed within this trope. The whole point of this story is that everyone turns away from MC immediately because of the millions of baseless rumors but the uke being a psychotherapist, has a more grounded view of everything

Tbh. The sex scenes used to have so much zing, like damn some scenes were NICE. But recently the sex scenes have been mostly mediocre if not flat out bad? I feel like the author is just cashing it in at this point, like “it's popular so might as well continue it bc it’s making money” sort of deal. The stalker arc sort of cemented it for me. I don't know if I’ll be visiting this much anymore once it starts to update again... We’ll see.
Go ahead and downvote me but this manga kinda sucks ass. It has so much writing but somehow goes absolutely nowhere. Every single chapter you get sent back to square fucking one. No real development whatsoever. I am literally just waiting for the sex to start happening at this point, because that is all there is to look forward to so far.
There will be progress. The artist is just edging. We're actually near the turning point
“just edging”... This is beyond that. These are “I don't know what the hell I'm doing” sort of plot issues. It somehow takes both no effort (don't have to think about plot progression or characterization) and a ridiculous amount of effort (as a writer and artist I have no idea how someone could write and draw so many chapters that literally go absolutely nowhere. Like, it takes a certain amount of skill to be so fucking bad at writing a plot).
You do know that the artist is following the novel right? If anything, they shortened it a bit compared to the novel. Although the novel better explains ML's pov. Please, by all means, if you're so frustrated, drop it. Or just wait for the manhwa to end so you can binge read it, because you're feelings are all that matters (not to me and the author and artist, but to yourself). Have a day.
My point still stands? The novel must be a drag, yikes.
I'm barely reading it at this point. Skimming it until sex happens
