I have other reasons but one of reason I look forward to Rosa and Yeonwu sex is seeing people drop this and leave the manhwa for the girlies that truly enjoy it. The way most of yall are annoying asf about a controversial manhwa is getting redundant already especially the harassment the author received when the title and synopsis is a dead give away and how yall say weird shit about Yeonwu being a sex worker when overhyping the friend who isn't any better [than a pervert].
And how many josei’s and yaoi’s have there not been where it’s been an older man with a younger woman and the man’s son goes after the fl (josei) or older/younger man with an younger/older man and it’s the son or the brother that goes after the ml (yaoi)? Or even blood brothers and step brothers in yaoi? People don’t object this much, hard and loudly when it’s like that but they do for this manhwa saying “oh yay, the mom and daughter sharing the same dick and yenwoo eating Rosa’s pussy with the same mouth he ate the mom’s pussy, he better wash it with soap!” Lol gtfo
This is very much true, the majority of the comments for most of the manhwa’s on MGG are brainrotted, noticed this under Wet Sand, the comment section for that manhwa are so bad it put me into a reading slump and not wanting to read WS for a really long time, read one chapter on bato after several months and it was sm better
Point is, everyone has different tastes and biases. So many people have been so loud and vocal defending, romanticizing and idolizing characters like Zhenya, Caesar and Sangwoo to just name a few and it’s been fine by others that don’t get that appeal (they’re good as characters and essential for the story but don’t understand the swooning aspect over it), no one has objected because why? We all have different tastes, reading preferences and IT’S FICTION! It’s just a story! What we like in stories don’t reflect our real life values! There has to be a wide range of stories for everybody! Pick and chose and read whatever you like! But when it comes to liking other characters like Joo Jaekyung (Jinx) and Jo (Wet Sand) the antis are so fking loud and obnoxious putting the other reader’s that do like them and/or the story down. You like the friend? Like him. Me and two other people from this thread like Yeonwoo, let us. You have an opinion? Write properly instead of just adding 3 in a row and a bunch of ?!?!?!?!?!. This makes it sound aggressive, bullying and demeaning. Like only your opinion is valid and the right one. Besides, the post was made by Plumy and you decided to comment on it so no one has attacked you out of nowhere but you make it sound like that and you didn’t even state anywhere in this thread that there friend is better than the ml, you only did it in this comment. You root for the friend, some will root for Yeonwoo, and some will root for both the friend and Yeonwoo. If you can’t discuss differences in tastes calmly without
You’re so right!! I’ve also noticed ppl just comment just to get the same thought that everyone else has already commented with no substance it’s so boring. I literally commented that as a decent person we would feel bad for yeonwu bc he’s being objectified regardless of his gender and I got called a man defender like how does that make sense
This exactly, I’ve noticed that too! Someone says something and then all the others take it and run with it until the end of the story and side stories! They all say the same exact lame things and keep repeating it over and over, like how they keep calling JJK a horse (because someone once said he looks like the horse in Spirited Away) or calling Flashlight discount Shutline to the point that it caught Kyuo’s (Shutline author) attention so she and her co-author friends in the business bullied and harassed Yangma (Flashlight author) sm much and then sued her to the point she had to change her artstyle, when Flashlight isn’t even the same as Shutline at all! If anything, Shutline is a dupe of Under the Green Light but Jaxx (UTGL author) didn’t sue or bully Kyou. Sorry for the side track and yeah, I agree with you on the last part as well. I really don’t get the people slut shaming Yeonwoo, calling him a manwhore, like …. ? A manwhore is someone who is willingly sleeping around, who is naturally a playboy/fuckboy because they like sex and one night stands. Yeonwoo being a former prostitute/escort/gigolo/wtv is not the same, at all. He did that as work because he had to, for some reason, that’s the only option he had. And like I previously said, that line of work taught and showed him a lot of ugly disgusting things so he’s not completely oblivious, inexperienced or stupid. But people don’t take into account that he’s not in that “industry” anymore so there was no reason for him to constantly be on guard/watch/edge and be defensive and suspicious. He’s had a rough upbringing and adulthood so yeah, he would and maybe still is like that BUT ALSO he decided to trust his partner, the woman he loves and lives with. There are so many nuances and layers! He can be suspicious, not able to relax, on guard/watch/edge, not completely feel welcome yet or comfortable at that mansion and with the family and ALSO do feel safe, free, etc. You know? So this makes me think and feel, no wonder men treat us women they way they do when even us women treat each other the exact same way. When we disrespect and have no empathy neither for our fellow sisters or the men that are good ones and the real “not all men”. Men can be victims as well. And the irony, that the author of this story author wrote it with the intention of the gender roles being swapped. Tsk.
CLOCK IT!!! People really try to simplify manhwa when that’s not what reading is about!! Especially in the bl community like why are we comparing two completely different stories?? That irritates me sm as well like shutline and flashlight are nothing alike… also what I really like about people like you is that you’re open discussing about what’s actually happening and making meaningful connections about storytelling!
Make me sick how insensitive people are with Ian emotional trauma and abuse. Someone on twitter really said that every one in wetsand is problematic and listed Ian as one because hes suicidal...that's just a horrible ass mindset to have to characterize a suicidal person as problematic. Yall are disgusting.
Most readers dont even have their frontal lobe development for stories like that that give foreshadowing. Also, say that he is cheating (I personally don't think it), why are yall mad anyway when we know Rosa and Yeonwu gonna have a relationship pretty soon. Also yall are absolutely digusting when talking about Yeonwu, slutshaming him and calling him a used man. Just picture yourself saying that about a female sex worker. Get a grip and give find a different manhwa.
Exactly!! You said it perfectly. Like that dude is a straight up pervert. Rosa said she'll do him a favor and was think something that's not sexual and he pull out his phone with provocative outfits because he wanted to fuck her in one when he knows rosa just uses sex as a stress relief and not pleasure so you can tell he takes advantage with opportunities as rosa doesnt really speak out it. He's truly is not any better when he also goes to brothel places too.
Feel like being a bitch after remembering how rude people where on the author lives and see rude comment after her Halloween Illustration. Hope yall realize that even if Yeonwu wasn’t in the story Rosa wouldn't even look at her friend the way yall want her to. Nor does she respond well to him even platonically. Yall know what you're getting into and stop the double standards already. Need the author hurry up with the friend so we can focus on Rosa and Yeonwu back stories, and so most of the friends stans can leave so those who do enjoy the story and Yeonwu can have fun without the redundancies/repeated comments.
Edit: Damn yall really piss off the author. She said the male lead is Yeonwu and its not gonna change. Also saying why are you expecting an innocent romance when the title tells you its about devouring a stepdad.
Okay listen, I know we don't want Jo hurt but, I need see him hurt so despite being hurt, we can see how resilient he is and how he can stand his ground. It will show us readers how more impactful Jo is as a character. The pure will and strength he's willing do for his love ones.
I totally get what you mean but I also feel like throughout the chapters Jo already showed what he’s willing to do for Ian. Like Jo is literally a normal, non violent civilian who likes taking pictures and camping, but when Ian is involved he’s willing to put everything aside for him. Like when he saw that guy in the alley dying and didn’t calling him an ambulance, because Ian would get in trouble, he challenged TJ (whose a fucking violent gang leader) by saying he wanted Ian and should fuck off, he tracked Ian down to their camping spot they shared, and now he’s pulling up gun in hand and outnumbered by a bunch of gangsters with experience in fighting. Jo is a normal guy but his love for Ian is so strong he’s willing to sacrifice others and put himself in danger to save him
Quick question. I know Taeha was abused as a child but who did the abusing? His father? If not, did his father know? Idr
Father had affair with another woman ml's mother she might be poor considering he was beaten in front of old tv , in my so far reading it would be ml's biological mom who did and even after getting adopted his older brother beat him too father only put him under him ig might know how useless his official wife son is.
I'm crying someone on twitter called tj, tjoilet then it reminded me how ppl call tjian reunion the toilet arc there really is nothing romantic between them.
No literally there’s never been any romance between them, it was all just a trauma bond where TJ dumps his load in Ian. It might’ve been obsession and hyper dependence, but never love. They definitely care for one another but it wasn’t a good relationship. My faith has always been in Jo and Ian. The author introduced Jo for a reason, to display the stark contrast between his feelings for Ian and TJs need for Ian. It displayed two types of attachments, one that’s romantic and one that’s psychological.

Ew the inherent misogyny in the comments over a pervert who forced dates with sooae knowing its just a work project. Sorry that character with complex emotions and confliction is something you can't handle.
I feel like they aren't forced dates. She agreed to them and she isn't uncomfortable. I get the whole complex emotions and conflict between eunhyuk and his emotions but I genuinely believe the way he is acting is drawing a line. Granted she was going to end things with Jihun; Eunhyuk didn't have any right to speak for her or capitalize on what they had been in the past cause at the end of the day he left and chose his fate.
Eunhyuk is definitely a coward not a complex character. Also, he should've minded his own business when he's just literally avoiding soo ae. Y'all eunhyuk enjoyer are so bad in interpreting the chapter.
