for a second there I was worried bro was gonna fuck up again after all the reflecting he's been doing, but I'm glad the author did it right! I've said this before but I'm very impressed by the writing and monologues. There's depth in every chapter and the main characters are multi-dimensional. Nakwon's character development has been one of the BEST I've ever seen so kudos to the author. probably not gonna happen but I'd love to see Mokhwa top him

haha that's not my reason but I respect it
I was just thinking that it could really add something to the plot. like, it would be meaningful if Nakwon were to give his body to Mokhwa to show his feelings are genuine, especially given their history and the fact that he violated him multiple times in the past. At the very least, I feel Mokhwa should be given the choice because otherwise it would seem as taking advantage of his inexperience imo - if he's just pushed into a fixed position. As far as we know he has no experience with love or been in a consensual sexual relationship with anyone before, let alone with another man. Maybe never even had sexual urges at all... but I'm aware fiction doesn't always follow real life logic so it probably won't happen lol

am I the only one who thinks Idris going on a killing spree doesn't make much sense? like, the whole reason he became a puppet for the prince was to save his men/the knights, but here he is killing everyone with no hesitation just for one useless guy... maybe I'm missing something.

see, that's just another thing I don't understand.. Idris having romantic feelings for him also doesn't make much sense to me - even if you put their age gap and history aside. And if he does have those types of feelings for him, it's developed way too poorly cuz I'm over here trying to figure out when and how exactly would he consider Zin a lover?! I feel that way about Zin's feelings too... like, he was forced to dick Idris once against his will, and he fell in love?!? then he started chasing him around out of both pity and interest... what do they even really know about each other? they haven't had a conversation outside of their jobs. To me it looks like Idris just going along with Zin's whims because he feels both guilty and responsible somehow... Maybe I'm being too "critical" but the development is for sure lacking.
so I guess what I'm trying to say is that I would totally understand Idris's actions if I believed the love actually existed. even imagining Idris considering Zin "his man" is cringe lol from my perceptive, I feel like his actions are more driven by guilt, rather than "love" tbh. Sorry for the long reply

Don't apologize i love discussing different interpretations!!
(i'll also put the age gap aside because my parents are 11 years appart and had 3 children XD so the age gap doesn't mean anything (if all parties are adult ofc))
To me, and i agree with you, it is subtle, but what i see is that Idris got touched by this random younger knight that was trying to help him but at first he might have sawn him as an opportunity to forget about the prince/king for a night (which would be toxic yé).
But ultimately i believe he enjoys thinking that Zin could stand with him, he likes the fact that he's not alone in this and that he's so important and cherished in Zin's eyes.
Now Zin, well, did he just got rizzed??? XD nah for real i believe he saw a part of him reflected in Idris' position, Zin too is getting abused and is chained to someone more powerful than him, and perhaps trying to save Idris was a cry for help and a try to save himself from his family.
(and perhaps along the way he picked up real feelings but i don't know about that).
So yeah i agree, their feelings are sort of shallow and don't come from healthy reasons!(that doesn't make them less interesting or less valid, just more fucked up, but their situation is fucked up after all)
Now when the only thing you can rely on (*think you can rely on)/when the only thing that showed you affection and gave you a semblance of confort is about to be taken away from you, yeah it's a normal reaction to try and fight against the people trying to take it from you.
Personal confort often comes before our ideals... and to some degree it's a good thing!

I agree about the development of feelings not being clear. From what I understood Zin already admired Idris so I think the ‘forced act’ was more of an opportunity for Zin and honestly that’s messed up in a whole another way.
As for Idris’s actions I kind of understand them. It wasn’t entirely about protecting Zin nor about not hurting others. Firstly the ones he attacked are the the first order of knights aka the cp’s dogs that bring him the people he preys upon for fun. They know his corrupt character and aid it instead of trying to fight it like idris is.
So what happened here was that the order came to falsely charge and arrest someone he feels responsible for and was aided by one of his own men (again someone he feels responsible for) and it wasn’t the first time the ones he is protecting turned their back on him and his allies because they themselves also have family and friends to protect.
So idris lashing out was more a reaction of the last straw. This scheme here made it obvious no matter what he does the cp will keep on hurting people around him because that’s just how a pos cruel tyrant the cp is. So how to stop this repetitive chain of his subordinates being raped, tortured, falsely accused and incarcerated or killed - cut the problem at the roots = kill the crown prince.
Jeong-min should just hurry up and fuck Junwo tbh bro overthinks and cries way too much lol he's got a lot of bottom energy going on, and I would love a switch! ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
