rik is just a yandere. he is blinded by his own trauma and so would rather force jinhyeong to suffer wallow in their misery with him and to rather then try and improve together. i think he loves him (either romantically or platonically) and doesn’t understand why he’s so betrayed by small things

he’s way too traumatized to see the right path and is filled with so much hate for the world but also so much love to give to jinhyeong which he couldn’t also give it away too easily because he’s too vulnerable and too afraid of losing it again after getting his hopes up (I mean it is what’s happening rn tho)

long time back i was confused how this whole thing is supposed to work, weirdly i was kind of right. he somehow couldn’t develop an artificial uterus (and ML semen so strong that cumming in his ass fertilized an egg implanted in the abdominal wall somehow), but he has developed a way to remove the fetus after the first trimester and implant it somewhere else without fetal death—a surrogate or some kind of machine. he knows it is risky (irl ectopic pregnancy is responsible for 1/3 of first trimester maternal deaths for a reason) but he chose to implant the egg and then not abort the pregnancy because he’s simple. (over analyzing things brings me joy)

from the hospital scene i thought wooyeon was doing the classic “leaving for your sake” move after realizing how his behavior was hurting peter. for those who read the raws, is there a time skip before they reunite or something else (like meeting in america or smthn?). is it fluff from now on or mildly psychological?

kind of. he wanted to let him rest and be with his family and loved ones in the states but he **spoiler couldnt live without him, he was missing him too much and if i remember correctly just a few weeks after his departure wooyeon came to the states to him. after a while there they came back to Korea but this time their relationship is different (better) but im still yet to finish the whole novel cuz its so long

since this was the season finale and we know our ml is a film buff, i honestly thought the mc would very obliquely reference that movie with the terminally ill lover and we’d have a cliffhanger with some movement. i bet that will be his first move though, coming clean about dying, then the whole hero thing, & finally love saves the day.

in ch21 they keep on talking about ml as like the paragon of masculinity but the art’s never really backed that up—they say he’s rugged, but he has soft youthful features in the face (ofc very ripped but still). was how he looks just mc’s perspective, or does the art style just not match up (or am i grasping at straws).

I get what you mean though. Masculine in Korea probably. People from different backgrounds tend to have different definitions of masculinity. Since Koreans are somewhat less hairy, and are built on the slimmer side he doesnt seem to look so masculine in some standards. He feels masculine probably, since he does sports and all, swimming makes the shoulders wider and hips smaller.
is it just me or was this chapter much more sexual than usual? the humor has always been raunchy and there’s a few scenes every once in a while, but a lot of the charm has been in how understated it is, so that last scene especially was whiplash
I remember the author saying they would be taking a more sexual approach in season 2
Eunoh's chapters have always been filled with the sex-lens he sees people through tbf. Not just his sexual jokes, but the panels through his pov like during the chapter where they move stuff or when he was sleeping over at Uyun's are not any different from the way he looks at Isaek in this chapter.
