taesun’s grandfather reminded me sm of my granny and today marks one month since she passed away. this is so horrible, i know the story needs angst and smth to push taesun and geumryang closer together, but it’s still fiction so i was really hoping the grandpa would stay alive and get to be a constant for them and see his great grand babies
with ah-rim having a supernatural ability like this, it should’ve been a minimum of 40 chapters - that way it wouldn’t have been so fast-paced and the sex scenes would’ve also balanced out. it’s a good thing theres side stories though but i wish it was longer

why irritates me the most is not su-yeon hiding the reason behind the move, it’s the fact that he refuses to acknowledge haesu being a mermaid/merman whatever. like he KNOWS haesu is a mermaid, and also he keeps seeing that ‘other girl’ in haesu, why not just ask haesu if he knows that other girl since they look so identical also the fact that haesu keeps referring to knowing su-yeon before and su-yeon seems so confused, WHY NOT JUST ASK HAESU WHY HE KEEPS TALKING ABOUT THE PAST/ACTING LIKE THEYVE MET BEFORE??? like the author just made the most nonsensical side story possible istg

i hate that grandpa died. grandpa died, things sorted out with taesun’s ex boss or whatever, shaman disappeared, geumryang is healthy again - i feel like it’ll end soon with taesun having the babies soon and him and geumryang realising + confessing their feelings. like it’ll end at chapter 50 or smth. that or it’ll get dragged out even further to like 70/80 chapters - but i don’t mind give me 50 more chapters

we definitely need to know more about geumryang and his past. plus, i don’t like where their relationship is at at the moment. they defo have chemistry and stuff, but they’re still so aloof with each other and whenever they show love/affection, they never talk about it afterwards. like the distance is still quite evident so if the story ends in a few more chapters, their relationship with them actually being in love and it not being contractual would feel too rushed and not fleshed out properly. and if it’s a time skip, we won’t really see their love either
