re-reading this and i can always agree that it’s such a beautiful and twisted story, but it always upsets me how yeojin will never be in contact with his son again unless seojin initiates, and the fact that mun-hyeok disappeared from his siblings lives. the kids look to be teenagers now, so it’s only a couple more years before they hit their twenties and i know bwat won’t write a story, but i really do wish for one between seojin and mun-hyeok’s brother - besides seeing them happily together, i would also like to see yeojin and mun-hyeok reconnecting with their families and hoping to see mo-ran taking on a happier, peaceful life with a wife

i’m glad they solved their issues and baek realised how silly he was being - it was their pre anniversary evening, not the actual anniversary, so it was iffy how upset he got - and it’s understandable how hyunsoo was preoccupied with thoughts of his mother, but that was also shitty of him to forget their anniversary. as long as they communicated and worked everything out though. theyre stupid, but theyre my babies

bro, the main story was absolute dogshit. top is an abusive rapist, and it took them just over two full seasons to discover the truth and all of the conflict was so unnecessary too.

the side couple is waaay more interesting and their limited time in the side story was miles better than anything in the main story. even that little tense moment charged with chemistry in the last chapter in the main story was more interesting than any moment between the main couple.

side couple deserve their own story, they have so much potential and amazing tropes to fill a full story - the longing in between, the excuses by brown hair to talk to blondie bc of the mc, jealousy arcs, problems with sihoon and blondie when sihoon gets released bc he felt betrayed, like theres SO MUCH that can be done with the side couple and better yet, theyre 100% consensual too!!! bruh main couple is so ass, i’m just so annoyed that it was a long 79 chapters when it could’ve easily been condensed into 40 max. side couple supremacy or whatever

this was such a well done story, with so many intricate plot points and backstories that from the main four, it makes it difficult to hate anyone bc they’ve all been abused. i’m not sure how to feel about the ending bc i really wanted to see the chairman suffering, but he IS suffering - jungwoo paralysed an already dying man, but i just wish the story was maybe another 10-15 chapters longer so we could actually see panels of the chairman suffering like in miscreants and mayhem/open board, you know. and i’m so glad they didnt show the chairman actually doing anything to minjae or jungwoo bc the implications already made me want to throw up, i don’t think i would’ve been able to handle seeing it. i read stories like this all the time, but idk the way the author and artist portrayed it in this one was just so impactful to me. and i wish we could’ve seen something bad happen to all of those people that raped and drugged minjae, and i wonder what happened between mr yoon and taeyoung. and did mr yoon know what the chairman was doing to his kids?

idk but i just hope all four of them are happy and find peace. i wish we could get side stories where it’s just fluff and happiness for both couples, bc the entire main story was just so tense and miserable

the whole thing was just porn with overexaggerated conflicts and unanswered questions like what about that guy who was forcefully pursuing gunjoon and that black car waiting for him? what about the side couple? man it was just so irritating - mc has these ideals and too strict rules at the start for no reason and then goes batshit crazy at everything and the coercive sex at the start ew. and for the majority of this they just couldn’t communicate. ml is strange bc of his upbringing but if mc has been in at least 3 relationships, wouldn’t he know how to act in a relationship? then again, i’m expecting too much from someone who dumped his last few bfs through text, then blocked them idk, the whole thing was just odd and the ending was so dumb. they seem like one of those couples who won’t last that long, like they barely have a connection outside of sex

oh also, mc is such a shitty friend man. hes one of those people who get into a relationship and ditch their friends immediately. whenever he was with the friend group, he was never mentally or emotionally present and he was only close with doyoon bc of the smoking area.

i don’t expect every story i read to have some intricate, mind blowing plot - i enjoy plain, fluffy romance, but this was such a one dimensional story with the most boring characters and we don’t even know anything about them except that they fuck like rabbits

idc if this is how the government would’ve handled this in reality, it’s a fucking gay FICTIONAL story about zombies and a time loop - NOTHING ABOUT THIS STORY IS REALISTIC it baffles me why the author would build up such an amazing and unique story just to destroy it with a confusing and extremely unsatisfying ending

youngwon’s bday is on christmas eve, but the infection/time loop/actual plot started on christmas morning and at the end was youngwon’s 26th birthday - so that means they were in the hospital for a year?? i understand why hohyun would be there since they would constantly exploit him and take his blood, but it doesn’t make sense for him to be a patient nor does it make sense for youngwon to still be there a patient. sure he could still be going for checks up + physical therapy for the bullet wound, but certainly not a patient.

and youngwon’s an art student, why would have he of all people been tampering with the equipment in the biology lab?? it wasn’t even shown in the story that he went there - like its possible to believe that maybe he went to see a friend or smth and tinkered with the equipment, but it not been explicitly shown makes it even less plausible to see

i wonder if the author is just a weirdo and thought “hmm, what’s the worst ending i could possibly write?” or maybe they thought if they gave the story a bad ending, it would garner a lot of attention, regardless of whether it was good or not

i’m happy that youngwon and hohyun are together, but everything is just so futile and unresolved that even them being together doesn’t feel like much bc reading the story makes you feel so empty. i’ve been waiting for this to be completed for two years now i think and it was such a waste man. like it was honestly such a good story but that shitty ending makes the 66 chapters useless

i think it would be very easy for jinwoo to kill guwon. we see how explicitly guwon trusts jinwoo, so i think if jinwoo were to keep a knife or gun by his bedside table, and lure guwon to his bed with sex, it would be feasible. if guwon were to question him about the sudden appearance of the weapon, jinwoo could always lie that he feels unsafe now since the hounds are around + the rule that they have to keep their doors unlocked, and guwon wouldn’t care too much in that moment. however, there are two issues with him dying:

1. the town would fall into chaos. suddenly without a leader and finally being able to access as much resources they need and do whatever they want, i feel like they could possibly bring in more people than able to handle, and they would finish everything. or they don’t bring anyone new in, and they still finish what stock is left bc they won’t have someone limiting them

2. more importantly, the hounds lose their minds. it’s been said before that the hounds have blind faith in guwon or smth along those lines, and if guwon were to die, i believe the townspeople would meet a gruesome end. tbh, the townspeople do need the hounds and guwon to survive so i think the hounds would just massacre everyone and take whatever supplies are left over. maybe they’d stay in the town for a bit, but ultimately they’d leave and the hounds can hunt and fend for themselves so survival in any way wouldn’t be an issue to them

buuuttttt, considering guwon’s freakish inhumane appearance and behaviour, i don’t think he’s 100% behaviour. while he can experience emotions and succumb to stress (i.e. the time when he passed out after killing woojun’s dad) i don’t think he can actually be killed. so i think even if jinwoo manages to stab or shoot guwon, guwon will feel the emotional and physical pain, but nothing further. and he’ll definitely be hurt, so maybe he’ll lock jinwoo away idk and that’s how it ends - guwon and the hounds doing their thing as usual, the townspeople depressed but living, and jinwoo confined forever for guwon’s happiness and pleasure

idk, just my take but i wonder what will happen next season - i’m scurred
