Jaekyung and even Dan's character development has been really slow but considering how BJ Alex went I think we still have a while to go. It's the kind of story where smut and pretty art are the main points. I have to give props to the author cause even after everything the manhwa is still addictive, you'll have me here the next time too... ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Why 'pearl' was in the title when it ended up being irrelevant? The story could do without them and be the same! The last part of the story and especially the ending were so rushed, it's a shame when it was going so well before. Some plot points were forgotten and the solutions were unfulfilling. At least we got cute moments and Jooha and Dooshik were a lovely couple. I hope we get some side stories to mend this, though I'm not sure how fond the author is of the story judging by how she finished it ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

What I mean is that the pearls were a wasted plot point bc they weren't used in their full potential, the pearls could have been substituted by something without the supernatural element or left out and the story could still make sense as Jooha being sold to repay the debt. The pearls were irrelevant bc questions about them were left unanswered and no longer mattered by the end. I don't know why you're so pressed about my comment tho, clearly the world building was lacking at the last part and the conflicts weren't well developed ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

I agree. The author just brushed over the main point, that this guy produces real actual pearls when he ejaculates. So it went from a potential fantasy/supernatural element to only dark/romance/thriller. I mean it’s not an “normal “ thing, so why not add explanation to the actual theme? Also in chapter 90, when Jooha makes reference to the vase of pearls, he says ‘what does this got to do with me anyways’. So did he lose the ability? I’m assuming so, but how? Why doesn’t “pearl boy” produce pearls anymore?
There's drama coming up~ there's a lot to unpack, they were apart for 6 years after all, they are in such different mindsets and places in life that I wonder how they'll come to terms with it. Idk it's gonna be hard for the short haired dude bc obviously he's not a priority for the long haired one~ uff it's gonna hurt, I already felt bad when he was shoved aside, and abandoned after the confession (yeah work is important but still). I feel the inferiority complex and workaholic-no-time-for-love drama coming. I just hope there's good comfort after the angst.
I get both sides, there's no way the long-haired one would want to give up what he worked so hard to achieve and the shorthaired one might feel inferior bc of his relatively common job and success compared to the other guy especially after noticing how he's not a priority for his lover, at least not over work related stuff (understandably maybe idk). Also the lighthearted tone the long haired one has vs the more serious tone of the shorthaired is gonna cause issues ~ I also feel the disparity there. Maybe the long haired doesn't trust much the relationship or thinks it's not gonna last or something. We'll see ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I love your essay and I totally agree with you and I love the fact you didnt bother with remembering their names LMAO I read so much bl but I dont remember a single name ahahah
this!!! im sure it'll definitely come to a work vs love kind of conflict plus the insecurities here and there. im already regretting reading this aaaaaaaaa
