It's because we know it's Harada that everyone takes it lightly. Not everyone is gonna get offended by things that are happening in a manga where a stone statue literally makes things appear out of thin air and the two main characters are dumber than a sack of bricks.

it think it’s more like it’s because it’s harada that’s why people can look at it and not react the same way as, say, if it’s depiction of rape in another manga. harada’s works are pretty niche, so you won’t expect it to actually impact how a lot of people think and feel about something. rather, it’s more like most of the readers already know that whatever goes on in harada’s works are wrong, or at least should be. harada’s works aren’t romance nor ordinary bl, so when reading it, you don’t exactly judge it the same way as you would other, more “normal” bls. for example, when reading other manhwas and mangas with rape, i find them distasteful because they try to include rape in a normal story, passing it off as romance, and completely just normalizing it. in this manga in particular, things are just so bizarre i don’t even know what to think anymore so i just suspend reason ahaha also i think it’s pretty neat how a lot of time harada’s works actually open a lot of discussion on morality because she’s so unforgiving in whatever she wants to write and draw lol

I’m not feeling it either those scenes. But this story is apparently a crack at all the yaoi tropes.

The point is Harada doesn't romanticize rape.
As I could see in other tons of BLs, rape is often romanticized and used as an excuse to start a relationship or to make an het boy become suddenly gay.
An example?
Idoku Shinaide from Nekota, has the seme literally raping and handcuffing the uke (an hey boy) and blackmailing him.
But the uke didn't report or got away from the seme, he fell in love with him to the point they became a couple with rings. (like, wtf)
Harada is more psychological, as you can see in Color Recipe she doesn't romanticize the rape (in fact, uke doesn't fall in love with seme), but it's involved in the story in a different way.

harada does deal with it differently which i like because its not romantisizing it. but im just not comfortable with the amount of rape in their stories. u know what i mean? like i know what im getting into but god damn

it is pretty interesting how her stories are written and portrayed and i love most of her works but its the rape initself that bothers me not neccesarily the creator because its such a hard thing to read and i know what im getting into when reading hardas works but the amount of it is ridicilous. its in almost every story that theyve made and its so common. its just distasteful and makes me sick.

i hate it when stories make it into a love aspect or ignore the affects that rape causes to someones wellbeing and like physical attraction to others. a lot of bl mangakas act as if its a plot point and its disgusting. i do enjoy the comedy in this manga of course but not when it comes to serious topics such as assault. even if thats the point its just ughh no

There’s this thing called blanket consent that is v common in bdsm couples. After how healthy their relationship was & how much they discussed things, it’s almost disrespectful to assume blanket consent wasn’t given, esp bc we’ve seen that in past chapters. what miserable attitude? im just tired of people excusing the stupid shit that the authors do in their stories. he didnt give consent for him to fuck him in his sleep. where did he say okay? he couldnt because he was asleep. theyre into s&m not somnophilia, not "blanket consent" ur pulling this shit out of ur ass to defend it. i dont care what people irl do thats their own private sex life. but when its in a story and doesnt show consent it looks like rape. if they said something about them being into somnophilia or if theyve talked about whats ok and what isnt then i wouldnt call this rape. but the fact that they didnt do any of those things makes me think its rape. instead of saying i have a miserable attitude see where im coming from instead of excusing how its weird that they didnt show evidence of this being an okay thing in their relationship

At the end of the day it’s the potential victim’s feelings that are most important. In this case it would be Jooni. He’s clearly ok w what happened afterwards bc he was excited about his ‘dream’ & it’s also weird to assume Siwon would do anything to hurt Jooni. Also, blanket consent is like I said common in bdsm relationships & you can infer it’s something they may have discussed. A webcomic shouldn’t be anyone’s first introduction into bdsm so if you don’t already know about these things, you should read up/educate yourself instead of diving headfirst into a webcomic where the author likely assumes that most of the readers are aware about base knowledge of bdsm. In stories like Kiss Me Liar, Painter of the Night, Yours to Claim etc those situations are absolutely rape and extremely problematic. This story is nothing like those & with basic comprehension skills you should be able to understand context & tell the situations apart. The evidence is their entire relationship up until now. Your savior complex doesn’t belong here.
