He was right, he really isn't a good person. Like wtf gives him the right to wish unhappiness on Haesoo when he knew all along Haesoo was in love with someone else and tried to keep him by his side through manipulation?

That doesn't make it any better. He's a god awful person for saying something like that when he knew better than anyone where Haesoo's heart was rally at from the very beginning, and it just proves he's had ZERO character development. He is such a fucked up person for repeatedly finding happiness in Haesoo's unhappiness and misery bc it meant he'd stay by his side and depend on him. And now where Haesoo finally has a chance of finding that happiness, he's being a selfish toxic immature dickhead who STILL can't stand the thought of Haesoo being happy. I had really hoped the author would give him a shred of human decency at the end of the story, but no.

I really appreciate the effort of the previous translator, but the translation of ch 1-7 is unfortunately really confusing and hard to read. There are major parts of the story and relationship dynamic that I just don't get bc of it, so if the new translator would be willing to re-translate those chapters I'd be really grateful. Take your time ofc.

I'm having a really hard time understanding this fight of theirs. Like I read their words, but I don't understand what it is they're actually trying to say.
I can understand why someone would be uncomfortable with the revelation that their current lover had a relationship with his decade long unrequited love. Especially since he knows they're still somewhat in contact. Like it would make sense if he was insecure about whether the two still have feelings for each other. Or if he is just shocked by the crazy coincidence and needs time to digest. But it doesn't sound like that's the MC's problem.
If it's jealousy of the relationship they had then that kinda makes it look like he's still in love with his unrequited love, which would be pretty disappointing to me bc I thought he had gotten over that crush Σ( ̄□ ̄||)

I guess Seunghyun just feels a bit conflicted or shocked with the fact that the person he's jealous of before is now the person he's dating...? & also the fact that they still are communicating with each other. I guess he feels like he's been tricked for some sort & he's feelings is being toyed. And section chief did invalidate Seunghyun's feelings.

I sincerely hope the author doesn't think this dynamic is romantic, but I have a feeling he/she does. Bc one moment the seme is verbally degrading the uke, raping him and throwing him to the ground, and the next he's pulling him into his bathtub and claiming he'll never belong to anyone else.

Like I swear every single BL and shoujo manhua I've picked up features a physically and emotionally abusive male lead. I get that there are most likely misunderstandings involved, but abuse is never justified. It just makes the male lead look like a terrible person for resorting to violence when under pressure, and I feel like readers will never be able to forgive him for that even when he eventually changes and falls in love with the MC. Bc you shouldn't HAVE to be in love with someone just to not abuse and torture them.
I just don't understand why some authors think violence is a good base for a romance story.

Personally, I think its because without them the story would feel too bland, boring. Don't get me wrong, I like wholesome unproblematic manwhas as well but this types brings spice to the story. Not that being abusive is right or anything, it just gives space for major character developments that would make the whole story better and enjoyable.

And regarding about readers not being able to forgive the mc even if they have major character developments... Trust me, they will. Maybe not everyone, but most will. A great example would be Jiwon from BJ Alex. Dude was literally abusive to the uke. But after he got his character development and started developed feelings for the uke, a fandom was literally made for him. Although that one is not Chinese but you get the point.

Idk I just feel like there's a major difference between physical violence and someone just being a coldhearted selfish ass. I see the latter a lot in mangas and webtoons, but not the former. I only see that in chinese manhuas and it really just kills the romance for me. Like it doesn't matter how much character development the seme goes through, the uke will always deserve better than someone who used to beat them.

So what exactly is the uke's problem? Was he just shocked that his unrequited love was dating his current lover? Is he jealous of the relationship they had? Does he feel guilty towards Jongchan for having a decade long crush on Yuseong?
I legit don't understand why he ran away and is making such a big deal out of everything.
Also what does the seme mean by "you think I'm disgusting for still thinking about my ex"? Is that a mistranslation or? Bc when was it ever established that he's still thinking about Yuseong? Just bc he kept the pen he gave him?

i think he just feel uncomfortable with the whole situation since he's not in love with his current BF yet...and he loved the other guy for so many years, i think he still loves him but is currently moving on since it's hopeless... maybe it's a process that will help him move o,
I guess that the one who likes the most loses as always !
Like his personality is somehow just so bland to me, and he feels like a spineless push-over. His dynamic with the MC feels more like a mother and child, than two potential lovers. Like he's incapable of taking care of anything, even himself, so she has to do it for him. He's just super unsexy to me.
...... Ur not the only one...... (≧∀≦)
he IS a spineless push-over lol but he has his cute moments i guess ..
Yeah .... Kinda
