If a guy confessed to me and then we became a couple. And then one day he tells me he confessed as a dare from a game and then came to really like as he got to know me. I wouldnt care really. It was a lie, but it's not like i was betrayed. If he cheated on me because it was only a game at first, it would be another story. But otherwise theres no reason to have make it dramatic.
Also....the uke actually teached him....the guy was so bad, he kept being dumped despite having this godlike body and nice personnality. So why even complain. Thats completely stupid.
i personally would feel very betrayed. if the entire way we met - which was sex, was just a joke/lie, what else would they have been lying about? something like that is so serious and suddenly being told that the entire way you met and became bonded together by was a lie? if someone lies to you about something that serious - their career, just because they were dared by their friends, how could i trust anything else about them?
Didn’t he pay him? It’s like going to college or like a culinary school and after paying and stuff the teacher is like lol i’m not actually a teacher. But I had a lot of fun teaching you guys.
Also the seme was being lied to the entire time of their relationship. I feel like it’d be kinda hard to trust someone after all of that.
1. Theres no degree to teach sex. So whoever claims they are teaching sex aren't pretending they are a real profesionnal.
2. No, the seme didn't pay, the uke kept telling him they will discuss the price later.
The uke gave lessons, as he promised. There was nothing else to expect from.his offer on the website. And he did a good job. So theres no reason to complain about the lessons themselves.
So what?
He lied about his job. That's it.
Its as if a guy was hired for a striptease for a party. And then you chatted with him and became close and started going out. And then later on he admits that striptease isnt his job, he only did it once as a dare.
SO WHAT? Lieing about what he does for a living is NOT a big deal. Because the truth is his real work doesnt involve him in any sexual.activity.
And I’ve said this in the post you’re replying to. It’s not even that dramatic. It’s not the author pulling this shit out of their ass for the sake of drama. He wasn’t even angry, he was upset, yes, but he didn’t push Mr. Ahn away and ignored him because of overwhelming emotions. If anything, his reaction was very subdued. He even told Mr. Ahn to stay indoors else he might catch a cold even after learning the truth. That’s the kind of person Hojun is.
Of course its not stupid to take a minute to think things thourgh. Its mature as you said.
But i do think its stupid that he had to do that. I think it is stupid that he is upset about that.
Literally, he just learned that his the uke didn't have other *students*, thats a good new.
.
Since the seme suffered about not knowing about all this, it would have made more sense if he asked why the uke never told the truth. And if he would have been a bit angry for knowing about it only now, i think it would be ok.
But getting upset to the point of needing to think it through alone seems stupid to me.
I’m also gonna point out that Hojun doesn’t know the amount of research his teacher put through and isn’t able to tell which Were jokes and which were truths. Those were private sessions that could’ve been leaked and laughed about with Ahn’s friends. And to his defense, they DID talk about Hojun at the dinner table, just not the way Hojun might’ve imagined the conversation to go. People keep forgetting that the reader’s POV is omniscient and Hojun doesn’t see things the way we do. So what if Ahn loves him now and there weren’t any other students, Hojun’s feelings of being upset is perfectly valid and we have no right to invalidate those feelings. It’s not “stupid”. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Wait hold up lol I just had to reread your argument and you said: “Since the seme suffered about not knowing about all this, it would have made more sense if he asked why the uke never told the truth. And if he would have been a bit angry for knowing about it only now, i think it would be ok.”
Hojun was upset that he didn’t tell him sooner. Heck, he wasn’t even mad, he’s just upset. Even Mr. Ahn said Hojun was upset. From your own words, then doesn’t this mean it’s “ok” lmao http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/the_good_teacher/uu/ibx_chapter-34/pg-24/
Yes it's all good to be upset/angry about only knowing this now. But he didnt even ask questions about it. He was too upset to even ask questions that he had to leave first.
It felt out of place to me. Atleast ask the uke why he didn't tell him sooner. Then get mad and leave if the answer is disappointing.
And I’m telling you it’s not out of place because it’s perfectly reasonable and completely in character given the circumstances they’re in. The fact that the author brought it up is much better than Hojun not giving a shit after being told the truth. It’s believable and logical, and I fail to see how you find it stupid.
Ugh this is so bad. Like...why are the ukes always so retarded only to.add braindead dramas
He doesnt want to kiss in public with Hamura (for obvious reason)
BUT its okay to do it with Alex LOL and he even accept Alex doing french kiss
And of course they act way over intimate
It could have been acceptable if the uke had been living in a special place where the culture is like that. But he was in fucking America. And his fucked up brain concluded : this friend is like a brother so we are super intimate. Like....im surprised he doesnt suck.off his teachers as an act of pure generosity at this point. Since his brain seems to work that way.
So yea.....absolute 0 knowledge of social culture, super hypocrite, GREATLY prioritize his friend over his lover and refuse help from.his lover and go get comfort from his friend.
Now just tell me, what kind of drugs should i take to believe this was a good idea for a story.
If you skipped my ranting, i made a small version : This story, big trash.
I really liked the beginning of the story, it could have been among my favorite mangas, but... I agree with you, ever since his friend showed up it was so stupid, it made me so angry... They were acting like lovers and expecting Hamura to put up with all of that. This manga really disappointed me since Alex showed up
It would be more interesting if it actually made some sense. The Elite 4 dont make any sense. Basically the guy that sucessfully seduce the current E4, becomes one himself and gains connections. But even with connections, we have seen that the members of all previous E4 do NOT just help each other for free. So being an E4 doesnt mean you will succeed and become rich. Hence the club shouldnt even have much power since all the new E4 are selected based on seduction instead of their influence.
And of course, none of the elite 4 we have seen are omegas. Thats so stupid.
Some people on this site are so blinded by their opinions of a character that they ignore some obvious signs. It was obvious that he got late because he got drunk, but many were saying that it was because he was tired and it wasn't his fault. Are you going to.tell.me.he took a quick.coffee behind the scene before this chapter started?
Can someone spoil me why the MC doesnt remember anything?
Nothing happened to him, he just doesn’t remember cuz it wasn’t a special thing to him. He only worried about himself and had his own stuff going on at home at that time. It was just that he was in his own world where people were just objects that could benefit him in some way. In my opinion tho, even if that were the case, I’d think he’d remember hooking up with some guy in school everyday

Most of the time i feel like the characters are exagerating to make drama. But i can understand the seme in this situation. They had a fight and suddenly his lover is naked at home with his ex. I would have assumed the same thing. I might have tried to talk to them about it(i dont think i would even try to believe anything they say though) but i can understand why the seme acted that way. Because i would be just as salty as him if i felt betrayed.
The uke is strongly at fault. 1st he drank way too much in a public place (to the point he might really have done it). And he decided to do that with his unfaithful ex that has been flirting with him.
Like....i couldnt stand to date someone who does that kind of thing when they are upset....
