Since this is a story(set in a very loose time with loose morals), and I’m pretty sure this story will somewhat follow the path laid by it’s predecessors, I was trying to make light of it by saying that the redemption arc is should be good enough to at least somewhat understand the motives of seungHOE.
Coincidentally, I don’t think the author will fully go down the redemption arc path, I think they’ll really justify a lot of it as seunghoe being borderline psychotic. That’s what it seems to me idk. I legit do hope that they go down the option of it being because he is mentally incapable of being properly empathetic or of having a normal conscience.
