well that whole caravan is gonna die now that they chased away the only two characters that could do anything at all whatsoever.
i mean dang, you'd think a whole group of fighters could have done something against the demons. how the heck have the demons not wiped out all of humanity at this point if the humans are that freakin weak.

you know i'm kinda digging this story now. it started out kinda crappy, like it felt unpolished and a bit janky, but it now has substance.
i was worried this would turn into a a crappy harem and lame attempt at plot but it hasnt, yay! the MC personality alone prevented a harem from forming, and i love it! of course that could change later, hopefully not. his dark personality is great! i mean he's a jerk but it works!

this is probably the first manga i've read that had such a long introduction phase. over a dozen chapters for him to just begin his journey/story. It was all worth it though, a very solid foundation for the beginning of his story.
i am really curious to see what the "outside" world is like in this story. we have no idea whatsoever what the state of this world is now and i am eagerly awaiting the discovery. i just hope it's not some post-apocalyptic dystopia, that would suck big time.
Dayum! Even after her betrayal, I might have felt the tiniest twinge of sympathy for the slavery abuse she suffered, but then she kills the dude that saves her from the abusers and mutilates Kido's completely innocent wife and kid. Sympathy flew away real fast!
To be fair - her savior also was fck up in a novel and deserved death.
Buuut it's unforgivable to kill innocent woman and child ヽ(`Д´)ノ
I agree with that
