This looks like something by Chitose Piyoko sensei. The art style, I mean. I'm not really into her work so you would have to search for yourself to see whether she drawn any arabian/sheikh style mangas.

Okay so at the very beginning of this story the MC said that in his past life, (which was still this same life he's in now but he just time skipped back a few decades to his past), that when he originally went to that household to ask for the pink-haired chick's hand in marriage and got his ass whooped, that this blue-haired chick saved him and protected him for a little while, so why is it that now, back in the same past he had before with just a few slight differences, the blue-haired chick somehow has a mysterious illness that prevents her from cultivated when that wasnt even a thing when he lived this life the first time?
nothing changed aside from his cheat knowledge and super cultivation, so why is this chick so useless in this version of his past when she was kickass enough the first time around to protect him?
Don't bother, these stories are so generic they dont intend to ever make sense. Its just cheap massproduced shit from shit novels for readers who are just happy to have anything to read at all.
When he was bringing her home with him the first time they were attacked by demon beasts and she died protecting him.
The second time around he went straight for her and left days before the demon beasts were even close to their path.
Now because she didn't die on that day and months had passed since then, the Oracle of the nine ice palace saw her and her inner potential.
yeah but she didn't suffer from this disease that makes her incapable of cultivating, because she was the stronger one that protected the both of them from the demon beasts. she would have been able to cultivate but now she cant all of a sudden. that is the part that makes no sense.
Never claimed she was stronger, just that she died trying to protect him. She probably died before ever realizing why she couldn't cultivate, not that her family ever gave her the resources to cultivate in the first place.
But if she couldnt cultivate she wouldnt have had the power to protect them in the first place. she certainly didnt fight demon beasts with her bare hands or some kinda weapon, she would've fought them with magic energy power stuff that can only be used by those that can cultivate.
It's more like she made herself a meat shield out of blind love. No abilities needed

There are a lot of ppl mentioning how difficult it is to understand the dialogue, while I too occasionally experienced this during the story I believe that it is just a matter of the original Japanese language itself.
The translations are probably as accurate as possible in the English language, but Japanese is a language that is a bit different from English. While sometimes English has the same word but with multiple meanings Japanese has this frequently in their language.
I believe a lot of this dialogue in the original Japanese version had multiple meanings and interpretations that we just don't have in the English language and therefore cannot be entirely translated properly.
Japanese is a very poetic language, far more so than modern English can comprehend.
Nope, sorry. This is a really poor translation. Some things, like idioms, don't translate directly, but they usually have something similar in the translated to language. This was just taken and transcribed verbatim. In other words, the order of the words was retained, which, when translating from Japanese to English is confusing because English is a "prepositional" language and Japanese is a "post-positional" language. That said, Japanese is not as confusing as this translation either. It seemed like the translator input kanji they didn't know into Google Translate and just took whatever came out and put it on the page. Because of the differences in grammatical structure, a translator actually has to interpret the sentences before rearranging them into the correct form in English. Transcription is not translation. This was an example of transcription.
Allow me to also add that I have read all the manga available for this mangaka and their writing skill is rather poor. Not their language skill, necessarily, but their ability to convey a story thoroughly and completely. Often they fail to fully convey thoughts and feelings of characters or stop part way with dialogue, only to go into tedious detail in other areas that are completely unrelated to the plot. So, adding poor translation to a poorly written story makes one feel like they are witnessing the acid dream of a schizophrenic.
*sigh* and once again he's gotta save the girls, seriously. they were just kickin butt then the minute this guy says he supposedly beat the MC they just let themselves get tied up, lame...
Not only that. Those two killed a lot of people and tried to kidnap the girls to use them as pawns. They should have been killed. Yet of course, as always in manga like this, they're still alive. And of course, they'll be even more of a pain in the future because of it.
I agree, the girls should've joined the fight when Taichi threw their game off.
