I feel like this ending is actually really sad....if u think about it all they’re doing is using each other to deny that the ones they loved are gone and not coming back. The fact that they tell each other that they “missed each other so much” and “don’t disappear again” is proof enough.

Holy Christ why have so many people taken up their pitchforks already?!? Idk I actually kind of like this full circle we’ve come in even though I feel it’s still too early to judge. Yona is going to end up with Hak regardless of anything Suwon does at this point. They already confessed to each other at this point I see that as marriage. This Arc shows yonas development as a character for actually thinking about what’s best for her country and is going to give suwon more depth then “that guy who killed yonas dad” it’s not going to make him redeemable but just add more context. For the people who r saying that she’s not strong any more, the fact that she can comfort someone who did something unforgivable to her also shows her strength doesn’t it? Yona is strong and competent now and she’s now made the conscious decision to stay at the place of her trauma for the betterment of her countries. There’s more ways to be strong than the cookie cutter “I’m strong so I’m going to do whatever I want” sometimes being strong means having the strength to make the hard decisions. In other words let’s stop judging this arc so hardly before it’s even over (or begun frankly)

Honestly I kind of don’t. The most I feel for this arc honestly is that it’s dragging it kind of feels like nothing is happening compared to the previous arcs
Personally I think the plot is being forced, feels like they're rushing to finish this manga, so they forced an alliance and that scene. Like the development is just so bad.
They're trying to pull the victim/pity card for suwon, since it seems like they're going to do a short flashback of their past. Like they already made him this disgusting excuse of a human character, and now they want us to sympathize with him or feel some sort of pity even? Like no, once you've done something you can't ever take back, there's no going back, there's no second chances, theres no redemption for you, ya gonna go to hell, so don't waste our time showing that human trash's past. Like maybe make It an extra side story or somethung, but keep it to the end when the manga is finished. The mangaka has already done such a good job of portraying this human trash of a character, i feel like changing it now is unnatural.
So yea, the forcing of yona into that situation where she could and mostly likely will development sympathy towards him, is just wrong. He doesnt deserve it. Plus we dont want hak to see that scene. It'll just cause unnecessary unease.
