I do love SH... Nakyum is objectively better and such a precious baby and I adore him but
That doesn't mean I hate SH. This man has some major trauma as well that he never dealt with, and judging by his instability and temperament, probably has some unchecked seally serious mental illness like bipolar disorder.
We're talking about a time when noble men could literally do whatever the hell they wanted and were all generally scum, now combine that with someone as emotional, gluttonous, and traumatized as SH. He's a villain, that's for sure, but I think he has a lot of room to grow and develop. He's not a lost cause.
I'm not blaming Nakyum even a little here, because after what he went through of course he'd be too scared to speak up, but you also have to realize that SH 1. Has never had to check himself before and is very selfish and spoiled and 2. Probably has not expressed genuine affection towards another in years if ever, so to lay himself bare only to believe that the person he trusted and started to like betrayed his trust, that must have wrecked him. So he built all his walls and started acting like an enormous dick so he wouldn't get hurt again. Is it okay? No. But it is realistic and true to the character.
To those complaining about his sudden switch up- it's not sudden, again, he probably is bipolar and if not, he just has an extremely unpredictable temperament and he switches up all the time. Also, he clearly had a moment where he realized just how traumatized NY was and how deeply he's screwed up and is feeling super guilty.

finally!!! someone who understands the situation deeper than just SH's random play of tantrums. ugh I'm getting tired of reading hate comments as if they didn't already see what lead to it. this is just realistically written and not just your typical cliché easy to guess story where the male lead would just magically understand everything like a genie as if he didn't felt betrayed too. I'm not justifying his actions but it is natural he'd act like that after letting his guard down bc it's nakyum but then suddenly the latter has seemed to abandon him, so it's natural he felt played at. anyone with trust issues would be like that. So I don't get the hate
I agree!! I feel like people are so used to boring, one-dimensional characters and perhaps are one-dimensional themselves so they are so quick to judge! They also don't really seem mature enough to handle a darker theme with complex, imperfect characters and understand perspectives outside if their own.
Horrible as he is, he had issues and we've all known that from the beginning, so why suddenly hate him so much? I don't see him as this lovey dovey white knight character, and even if I'm hoping that he'll have BJ Alex level development, I know for damn sure he isn't anywhere near there yet, so I love him for the messed up, villainous, traumatized character that he is. Right now, he thinks he laid his heart bare for Nakyum and Nakyum took advantage of that and ran away. That's what he thinks and that's how he's treating him, and Nakyum is too scared to tell him the truth, so unfortunately he has to face the consequences of that.
Someone with some sense but they have been hating from the beginning and even when we got a glimpse into his past they still hate him. Seungho is just that character that everyone hates on to enhance their love for Nakyum. I love both characters and see both their flaws. All everyone else see is Nakyum the beautiful victim.

Yeah, exactly– and ofc, Nakyum IS a victim and a precious boy, but he does have flaws as well and his silence right now is hurting him more than anything else. Sh's past does not justify his actions, but it does explain his character and I'm hoping that he will be able to heal and love properly eventually.

As much as I love the twisted, tragic theme...I just don't want it to end up like Killing Stalking. No redemption, no closure, just death and done in an instant after so much suffering.
They both have the potential to be in love, to have a good relationship, they only lack communication, and trust on SH's side. He's traumatized and paranoid though, so we'll see how far that clouds his judgment.
I doubt it'll end like that since it's listed as "romance" and the author has a lot of fluffy/cute couple-esk art for the two. I think it's mostly just drama, pain, drama, sex, ok whens character development, more sex, more drama, more pain, sex again, little character development, sex, pain, backstory, something big happens, then happy stuff

Yeah we came here bc we're thirsty hoes, no doubt. BUT!! This is the first time we're really seeing what's going on in Shin's head in terms of his feelings and attraction to Wolfgang. In the non-R version, he don't see that he's actually extremely attracted to him, that he longs and lusts for him, and that he wants to be held just as much as Wolfgang wants to hold him. In the other version, it feels like until the end when shin is saved, his true feelings are hidden and overlooked, making Wolfgang look pushy and his love look one-sided. Here, we get to see way more of the other side as well.
