I love this author but this story doesn’t really look good (based on comments and tiktok i saw) should i read it?? I mean, i would prefer avoid it if it’s toxic or whatever twt, pls lemme know if this is actually worth to read or no
Truthfully, it's definitely worth it. I read it in two days because i had work and unfortunately had to force myself to stop reading and sleep. Otherwise, i would have binged til the morning LOOOL! I've literally just finished it and it was one heck of a rid. Good consistent plot line, no unnecessary characters, and good amount of action, thriller and angst inducing scenes. Of course, you know BWAT can't have a story without something no being quite right "morally", but it's worth it. I'd say try it and if its not for you drop it BUT don't deny yourself a possibly great reading experience ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
You should read it but keep in mind the only bad thing is that this dude won’t stop calling him dad(not sexually idk why tf he keeps calling him that, it’s based on trauma I understood that much but comn the guy does NOT get traumatized he’s cold hearted cuz of his childhood, maybe that’s the trauma?? Idk- they’re not related but yeah)
yep, about that... i hope you don't take this in offense as i don't mean to impose my views haha
but honestly, the dad calling from pil-gyun's side makes sense to me. idk if im over-psychoanalysing but as a psychology student, i can kinda see this as part of his APD (antisocial personality disorder aka psychopathy, characterised by a lack of empathy) due to APD having a genetic basis that can be triggered by environmental "cues", a main one is physical and/or emotional trauma, which Pil-gyun experienced at the Wang guy's hands...
I think a genetic vulnerability to APD is hinted when Director Hwang is killed, as his last thought before he dies is "Heeran, you gave birth to a monster" so the whole "dad" calling could be a coping mechanism for his APD as we can see he struggles with his intrusive and borderline obsessive thoughts sometimes, but Nanmu is pretty much the only thing that keeps him 'sane'.
I hope you understand where I'm coming from, and if you feel like i'm overanalysing feel free to call me out on anything that's wrong!
I used to prefer em over the main couple, and i was truly interested to get to know more about em but oh.. that’s not..
i’m kinda disappointed and most of all disgusted, FYM “it’s ok if u think of my dad” LIKE WHAT??
I always thought love stage was pretty weird, but i just never really minded it since it’s good after all.. but this.. hell no
Oh I must have missed your extended comment somehow. Yeah I agree it’s sad to base a relationship on someone looking like your crush and I agree it’s sad and wrong. However after being gone it seemed like he did grow genuine feelings for the son that separates him and his father. Also I agree love stage overall is wack as it victim blames, ignores consent constantly leading to rape in some cases
I loved the story ok??
But even tho he actually already broke up, the other thinks he still has a boyfriend, which sounds disgusting imo, it’s so unhealthy dating someone who’s already taken sorryyy
It's the homewrecker mentality I'm not fcking with I wish ml looked more hesitant or guilty or regrettable about what happened. Idk, his nonchalantness about the mc cheating with him is just ickkkk. This isnt exactly a serious or deep story itself so I'm not gonna harp too much but still, wish things could have been tinnyyy bit different.

OMG?? I WANNA READ MORE, DROP THE CHAP ALREADY
